They really pushed the envelope on the upgrade. Very nice looking and layout. Plus practical for use for many. Can charge electric cars, sunbathe if there is no one fishing on fishing pier, Great play areas , wet or dry for the kiddos. Paved nicely all the way around lake for folks getting them miles in. Bathroom is big and roomy and seems well kept. Park closes at sundown, so it's pretty early on the winter months. Right now, the Christmas tree is up, but since it closes at dusk, not much room to get photo ops.
Nice circular park centered around a large lake used by a few folks for fishing. It has a playground for children and basic amenities.
This park is situated in a beautiful, quiet little corner of Tamarac. It's well maintained. The kids park has a soft, bouncy ground. The dock and the pond is lovely. There's picnic tables and clean bathrooms. We love coming here- it's one of our favorite parks.
Just wanted to comment on the new park overhaul. Was at the park with the grandkids for the first time and must say the park is amazing! It is a total transformation. Everyone who was involved should get a big pat on the back for all they have done.GREAT JOB!
My kids love this park! We walk the trail, they play in the gated playground for hours, look for duckies, and its location is perfect.
The ONLY reasons I'm not giving it 5 stars is because there is no changing table in the restroom, the dock is covered in duck poop, and there's an fire ant issue. They're all avoidable, but have proved unexpected challenges.
Stumbled upon this park. Beautiful park with a lovely playground area. They have a lending library box which is cool. Its currently decorated for the holidays with a Big Beautiful Tree and Chanukah Menorah and Kwanzaa Kinara, inclusive which is nice. There are ducks and other birds that beg for good so be careful if you bring food. I would have given this park 5 stars but the ladies bathroom was foul and one of the toilets was plugged up and wouldnt flush.
Park has been designed by Walters Zackria Architects for the City of Tamarac and has a beautiful amphitheater by the lake, a refreshing SplashPad, a big Playground, fitness station and a nice trail around the lake!!

Nice for younger kids with plenty of different activities not offered at most parks or playgrounds, as well as swings and slides. It's covered, fenced, and has soft fake grass throughout. There are plenty of benches along the sides for adults to sit.

Excellent trail. We brought beach cruisers which we knew might not be good in the gravel and they were not. We ended up having an excellent walk. Very calming environment.
Many options for outside activities. Long open trail around the entire park. Always many happy people young and old enjoying themselves. Organized sports is available here. Park maintained very well. Very safe area for all.
