We had a great day at the Capital One Cafe! The coffee was great. Half off for Capital One card holders. I had a Cortata and it was fabulous. Bathrooms are available but need to be unlocked. Great seating options. ATMs available and you can even get a cashier's check.
These Capital One cafes are some really great gems for Capital One members. I got 2 mochas for about $6 along with some freebies for the kids and great atmosphere/seating. Perfect if you need a quick seat or a place to study. Also, Phoebe was super kind and helpful.
I'm a new convert to these capital one cafes. Super inviting atmosphere to hang out while you sip your drink. I really like the hot apple cider. It's sweet (but not too sweet) & has that spicy kind of warmth to it. The employees are also very nice.
AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Spent here a couple of hours with my parents. We came from Florida, and I didn't even know there was a Capital One Café; I had never seen one in Florida. When I saw it, I didn’t hesitate to enter. The staff is incredible, they make you feel at home. The food is delicious, and the coffees too. We had a pleasant conversation with the manager, and she was so kind that she even gave us a backpack and some water thermos. Finally, I can only say that our experience was wonderful. Before we leave DC, we absolutely are going to be back to enjoy the excellent service they offer on this beautiful coffee shop. PS: If you are a cardholder, you may get some discounts!
Love the Capital One cafe! As a longtime Capital One card holder it has been great to be able to take care of simple banking issues *and* have a reliable, nice place to grab a cup of coffee. I’m leaving one star only for one key reason. On now two separate occasions this location has closed early with no notifications anywhere obvious. Just last night I tried to grab a coffee, and though the team was clearly present the doors were locked. I tried to signal to ask what was going on, but even after being clearly seen by the staff I was ignored. Look, I get it. Stuff happens and sometimes you need to close early. But could you put a sign up or something? And if not, could you show customers the courtesy of maybe explaining why you’ve closed an hour early? I don’t think this is a lot to ask, and was very disappointed by the lack of professionalism on display.
Ty was absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in he was friendly and helpful. He gave us a tour of the coffee shop which sounds silly but was actually really helpful in putting us at ease. There was no pressure to open an account or anything either which I appreciated. The atmosphere was chill and the space was clean and modern. If you are a Capital One member you also enjoy 50% off your purchase. Definitely recommend visiting and definitely would rate Ty 10/5 stars
The green tea is so caffeinated that I couldn’t sleep 12 hours after consuming. There should be labels. All the food comes from a package. Overall a gross corporate ploy with no real personality.
This seems like a great spot to grab coffee, however I'm not happy about the policy that requires you to, not only be a Capital One customer, but you MUST pay with your Capital One card (my credit card) in order to receive the 50% discount on some drinks, including an Expresso. I guess they lost a client because I find using my credit card to "pay" for an expresso to be really inconvenient specially when cash on hand. Not good...
Been here a couple times now. Itâs very quaint but the staff is incredibly friendly and the coffee/food is excellent. A tight fit. Lots of people studying/ working on laptops. A nice patio. Music is nice and quiet in the background so if you donâ
Lot 38 Espresso Bar is a great choice for coffee in Navy Yard. The Mom & Pop shop is a very welcoming and even has areas upstairs to hang out, drink coffee, and/or work. The price for a large (20oz) latte or cappuccino is better than the smallest, ch
TLDR: Tasty coffee that did not disappoint. Variety of options and plenty of space. Definitely recommend. First Impression: Not great. But it was turned around quickly. The first thing I saw was a Starbucks like menu of seasonal drinks. Thatâs typ
Such a cute cafe! Latte was delicious, service was pretty quick, and lots of seating inside and outside. I didn't stay but will definitely be back to hang out.
This place has one of the best coffees that we've had in DC. The draft coffee is amazingly smooth and creamy. The coffee is fragrant and thoroughly enjoyable, although I usually prefer my coffees to be stronger and bolder in taste. It's not the easie
This is my favorite coffee shop on earth. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and very efficient. The owner is the sweetest woman and she just created the most peaceful atmosphere. The drinks are always 10/10 and the baked goods (and espe
Such a great find on our trip to DC! The people working here were so kind and the coffee was good. You can order inside or at a window outside. There is nice seating along the street and many other products to choose from inside, such as wine and swe
Always a wonderful experience here - great coffee, great service! The Almond Butter Latte is a must-try - this drink is excellent (delicious in fact) both hot and iced. Not too sweet but needs no alterations as this drink is perfect as served! All y
A delightful place to sit and drink coffee or get something to eat. I enjoyed the variety of colorful items on the walls or standing alone. Friendly staff. Their smiles were nice to see since I was having a horrible morning.
I love coming to barre at the DuPont studio and canât recommend it highly enough. The classes are challenging (there are multiple formats) but inclusive of people of all ages and fitness levels. When I first started barre, I didnât anticipate big
