Our room was incredibly beautiful and huge! The king size bed was heavenly. The shower and mini bar area were fabulous. We liked having the sink area separate from the WC. It was 95degrees when we stayed so we requested a fan in addition to the AC. It arrived at our door in minutes.
Had an amazing time during our visit! The hotel is located about as "downtown" as you could possibly be in Annapolis. Very easy parking though in the garage across the street. Our room had an incredible view of main street. Step outside the front door and you're looking right at the capital building, literally a stones throw away! The hotel has a bed and breakfast type of feel---quaint and very relaxed. Chef Anthony is hands down one of the best chefs in Annapolis, we had several excellent meals and basically came to the conclusion that there wasn't much of a need to try anywhere else! We did try some other spots to eat (Masons a few doors down for an excellent lobster roll) but found the food at the Parley Room downstairs to be the best we had on our trip. Very tasty cocktails as well. Spacious and cozy rooms and GIANT showers. Highly recommend this place for anyone!
We booked every room of this hotel for our wedding, and we absolutely loved it. The hotel is owned and operated by three partners, and it's evident from every detail that it's a labor of love. The rooms are bright and clean, and have wireless charging ports and modern amenities. The bar downstairs and the large porch with a great view of the statehouse are fantastic places to have a drink. We worked closely with one of the operators, Anthony, who was an excellent host. I would highly recommend staying here.
Loved our stay!! Location could not have been better - easy walk to all the food/drink/shopping options and also so pretty right by the statehouse. Room was pretty, clean, and comfortable. Both the room and bathroom were a great size for two people. Received a text with all the info on the way here which made arrival so easy. Will definitely come back!!
The Capital Hotel is absolutely beautiful. Our room was on the third floor and we had magnificent views of the harbor and Main Street. Our room was bright and well appointed. The room renovation spared no details. Self check-in was convenient and allowed us to arrive at our convenience. I highly recommend at least having a drink at The Parley Room on the first floor. The vibe is upscale but casual at the same time. My smoked old fashion was excellent. I look forward to staying here again in the future.
Cannot say enough good things about Anthony and the crew. They were incredibly helpful. This is one of those places where you really get way more than just a nice room and a good location. They really make you feel at home here. An example - I was there for a wedding and it was hot that weekend. When the staff learned it was an outside wedding, they got a little cooler ready for us with ice and towels to cool off. Incredibly service!
We had a reservation for a room on the 3rd floor over a very hot weekend. It was obvious the room wasn't going to get cool enough for me to be comfortable sleeping in it, and the staff refunded us half of that night and all of the second night. The service was wonderful, and the room was lovely. If you don't mind heat or noise (the bar downstairs is loud), this is a great find in a perfect location.
The Hotel is nested in the city center, surrounded by restaurants, bars, dinners, and great little cute shops!
The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was so comfy that it was hard to wake up the next day.
There is public paid parking 2 minutes walk from the hotel.
At night, the hotel porch was busy with people having drinks and food. The city was busy and electric. It's such a cool vibe.
I liked the freedom of not having a room key. Instead, we had an access code that did the entrance door and the room door.
Check-in and out were easy and smooth.
Mary texted us all the time with instructions and recommendations, 5 stars service.
We’ll definitely come back.
We had a great experience in a charming and well-maintained historical setting, the Governor Calvert House. It's a wonderful location, with easy walks to just about everything we could possibly need. The room was well appointed, quiet and spaci
We got to this Hotel, after analyzing and reviewing over 25 different options in the area. We read the Google reviews and decided to spend our New Year's Eve 2024 here and what a great choice that was! All the people who work here are very friendly a
