From the moment we stepped into the lobby, We were greeted with the warmest welcome from the front desk service agent, Frank. He truly set the tone for my entire stay. He had exceptional professionalism, combined with an infectious enthusiasm, that made us feel valued and appreciated as guests. Not only did they swiftly handle the check-in really well, he had to check in early. But Frank went above and beyond to ensure my accommodations were perfect. He also had really good local recommendations. The extraordinary service, kindness, and professionalism deserve recognition we got from Frank and the rest of the staff, I highly recommend this hotel. The location is amazing as well.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel earlier this month. It is in a great, central location and has great rooms and amenities. Guest Service Agent Theresa Thomas warmly welcomed us upon arrival and made sure our room and stay exceeded our expectations.

Everything was to notch! The seamless checkin process was so easy, and we did receive an upgrade in or room! Frank’s smile lit up our day after being up at 2am to catch our flight. He made use we had everything we needed, provided excellent meal suggestions, and checked in on us often. Everyone was extremely kind & personable. The rooms were large, clean, and well cared for. Excellent location for family DC activities, as well! My husband and I met here 17 years ago, at a conference. So fun to be back!

Wonderful stay! The staff was amazing. The hotel looked and felt clean. Our room was very nice. I really liked the small green area for my dog. The location os close to sightseeing opportunities and metro stations.The only reason I gave the room 4 stars is due to the lack of hot water. There was hot water but it was short lived. But overall, I doubt we will stay anywhere else in DC because this hotel was such a wonderful experience. Oh, the price of parking does suck but it's DC...

Loved the hotel. Super efficient . Wonderful staff. Great clean rooms. Awesome breakfast. Ambience makes you feel so welcome. Lunch menu restaurant is very reasonable .Loved the kindness. Theresa, Brittany and the breakfast staff catered to all our requests. Stay at this hotel, you will love it here.

I checked in earlier today and I am so pleased with my decision to stay here at the Capitol Hilton. The location is of course so convenient to everything but the hotel is really lovely and the staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. Theresa Thomas checked me in and was so accommodating. I was very early and she was able to find me a room with a super view. I paid a little extra for the early check in but it was well worth it. Thank you Hilton!

The front desk staff were all so friendly, especially Theresa Thomas. She really went out of her way to make sure we had the best suite, as we were celebrating a birthday and an engagement! Our first encounter with her set the tone for our stay and we will definitely stay again when we visit. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
