Cape Perpetua Overlook - Tourist attraction in Yachats - Cape Perpetua Lookout, USA

Sadly, we visited when there was a 6 we couldn't take our time to soak it all in. Either way it was still a wonderful view from up top looking out to the ocean. There's restrooms up there and limited parking for busy days. I did notice a trail from the bottom that can be hiked on nicer days.

Easily one of the coolest places I've ever been. You can hike all the way up (be ready for a HIKE) or you can drive most of the way up then walk about a quarter mile to the look out!

Oh, what a beautiful view! Short drive south of Yachats. Drive right up to the top for a super short, easy walk around the top for a great view overlooking Yachats and Devils Churn. The trail is maintained well, and there are several to choose from.

Breathtaking view and great trails. The bathrooms were clean but didn't have hand sanitizer.

We love Cape Perpetua! Bring cash for the parking if you don’t already have a pass. Do exercise caution on the trails.

Amazing views. It's neat to see the clouds/fog through trees in the parking area. Crazy how fast you climb elevation with just a short drive off 101 to the lookout.

Holy cow the VIEWS are unreal! Nice short walk at the top (level-ish and partially paved) and also a longer hike. Both are well marked.

It's worth the little walk to the rock cabin the view is amazing. Best place we stopped to see the GREY WHALES. It was not the best weather but still beautiful views of the ocean and the beaches below. Have to pay the fee for the State Parks but the pass is good for the day for the State Parks. $5-$8 (Usually) Have to pay another fee for National and city..$5-$8 Most of the parks have a vault toilet there are a couple that have no services. Most the park's have handicapped parking and a couple have paths all the way to the beach . We will be back when the weather is warmer.
