Really nice but their softball team stomped us twice.
We just finished a month long stay at Canyon Vistas in a 5th.Wheel.||||The Good:||Facilities are well kept, clean.||Plenty of activities with variety. to keep you busy if you want to be kept busy. Weekly movies. DVD and book library. Post office.||Friendly staff.||Two pools - either can be a lap pool.||||The Not So Good:||Rules are long and detailed..||Application for stay involves much detail about your rig and towing vehicle - as if you're going to skip out on the bill.||BIG BAD: Little to no WiFi in Canyon Vistas. Constantly kicked off. Can't keep in touch.||SECOND BIG BAD: No CATV.||||While we don't want to be on the computer or TV all day - we do need to keep in touch with relatives and the outside world. We've been told by other staying there the management does not care about the WiFi or Cable and has no intention of doing anything about it. You can drive next door to Superstition Views and be automatically connected. Same with driving outside the resort to local communities. I have to believe based on our experience that management has no intention of buying more band width or installing more towers.||||Exiting the park on a weekend is next to impossible. No traffic lights and traffic southbound is backed up for several miles due to the weekly Renaissance Festival. It's not easy in a car - even tougher in an RV that has to cross traffic lanes to go back north.||||On a neutral comment: we've found permanent / long term residents are not as friendly to temporary / short term visitors. Of course they find friends and do things together year round.||||Overall: If you don't care about WiFi or CaTv - this is a good resort. But if you want to stay connected to the outside world - it will be an effort to be slightly successful.
Canyon Vistas is a true RV resort. There are two sections - Park models scattered throughout the RV sites and then Superstition Views which is Casita type homes (stucco); most with RV ports. The RV sites are large and the streets are easy to navigate. Golf carts are welcome. Excellent amenities, ranging from Bocce ball, pickle ball, tennis, swimming, workout facilities, pool hall, etc. Great place, great people.
Love this resort, from management to residents and so many amenities to keep us active and having fun! This resort is beautiful and a unique experience.
Visited family here. Fun atmosphere of active seniors enjoying spending their kids' inheritance :-) lots of outdoor games/activities going on, people visiting on front patios, and waving from golf carts. Pool and grill area were nicely set up so we could watch water volleyball while we ate, and there was a stage for the band as well. Neat little community of friendly people.
We stopped by for info only. Staff was friendly at guest services, fair at activities. Lots of amenities, nice size lots for RV. Fajitas are interesting. Found it be a bit pricey and the monthly charge for the utilities were much higher than most, adding 120 and more per month depending on electric use, which is why I give 3 stars
Awesome RV resort with two large well maintained pools, one of them has a restaurant and bar (very inexpensive).|Laundry facilities are immaculate. They have tennis, softball, horseshoes, huge gym, billiards and much more. |The location is awesome with the Superstition Mountains and stunning sunsets. We highly recommend this resort.
Just my husband and I traveling back from a sailing regatta in Florida when we came upon Canyon Vista's. From the get go a headache, no visa, no cash, only certified cheques Had to ride our bikes across the freeway to get payment from a grocery store(I know). They first put us right beside the pickle ball courts, even helped us park our small sailboat on the lot that has plenty of room. Cheaped out they used gravel. Pickle ball starts at 6:30 am and goes to 8:00 pm EVERYDAY. Felt like we lived in a pop corn machine. Asked to be moved somewhere quieter and yip right into the construction zone. Where then we were advised no boats allowed after being there for 4 days we were told it had to go off sight. We left the next morning not even asking for the rest of our money back. I'm sure they would have had some excuse to not refund us our money. Very poor front end staff, right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. You've been warned.
Gold Canyon golf and RV resort is a very clean and comfortable tiny house community. My parents live here, and I live nearby. I love that it is gated. I love how clean it is and the views of the superstition Mountains are spectacular. It is directly
The destination is worth the hike. It starts out very easy with a rocky trail and mild elevation gain. As you get closer to the cave, the ascent becomes harder and there's more loose rock.
Bring water. Wear sturdy shoes. Consider hiking poles if you
Great little, easy hike. The canyon and vista are really nice. It was cool to see the petroglyphs. We went on a winter holiday weekend, so there were quite a few hikers, but it wasn't too bad. The hardest part is finding a parking spot. The parkin
Once again, a fabulous production at Zao! The size of the venue really puts the audience in the heart of the show. Utilizing vocals from various points around the theater has a really wonderful result, creating a unique experience. Well directed and
1We've stay at this Best Western twice a year and always have the best time at The Rodeo Lounge. Even more fun when you come with friends and family. The bar food is darned decent given their limited space to cook. It's popular so be prepared for it

Stopped in for lunch after golfing nextdoor. The staff were super friendly and the food our server recommended was as advertised. I had hand dipped onion rings and a French dip sandwich. Both were absolutely amazing.
Very good food. The lunch special are worth it large portion you get rice a spring roll and soup. I have a special needs son who is very picky and he liked the orange chicken and rice could not get enough of his plate. All the staff is very friendly
