Mountain Biking Review
Definitely a blue black diamond trails in parts. Summer season it’s full of tourists who are enjoying the path as well. So just be mindful you won’t be able to send as much as you would like because you have to watch for people more. It was a good trail over all. Good elevation gains and a good ride.
Visited 7/19/23 - Better option to picnic at this trailhead than the picnic area across the street. There is less trash and bugs to contend with. Unfortunately the pit toilets have not been serviced but at least the trash cans are not overflowing. Great views from both locations.
Visited here in mid October. Absolutely gorgeous!
Beautiful trail for both biking and hiking. Roxi and I had a great time. The view is absurd!
I came here on a pretty cold day but there were enough trees to block the wind.
Also a beautiful hike on a moonlit night with no headlamps.
A stunning walk along the edge of royal gorge. The views offered of the gorge and the bridge are arguably better than those within the paid part of the park as you will need able to enjoy the stunning sights unmolested by the horde or obese Americans who bypass it in favour of the bridge and gondola. Just watch out for the many and loose stones.
Why pay $30 per person to walk across the bridge? Park at the trailhead and hike/walk to the beautiful views afforded by the trail. Don’t want to walk? Then drive to the view (clearly marked) and take a short walk to the view. The trail itself is beautiful and there are two toilets both at the trailhead and in the picnic areas on the way to the view. There are also multiple picnic sites on the road to the view and at the trailhead. If you love nature, this is the better option. Also, no camping is allowed at the trailhead.
Easy hike with a fantastic view of the Royal Gorge. I’d advise wearing closed toe shoes due to the amount of cactus on or near the trail.
A fairly easy trail. Out and back about three miles. Although there are other connecting trails that can take it further. Fremont Peak would be one way to go. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL VIEWS. Watch the cactus if your bringing a dog.

Great 1.5 mile hike on the Royal Gorge Overlook Loop with just as good of views of the Royal Gorge as the park without the cost. The most scenic hike I've been on.
I will start by saying I am very picky about my food and I leave reviews often. Rarely do I leave a 5***** review.
The food here is fresh, tasty and authentic.
The price is decent, around $20-$30 per person, but definitely worth it.
The playground is located in Centennial park next to Royal gorge and has a variety of features for kids of all ages, including a walkway, pond, splash pad, sliding structures, and benches and picnic areas.

Beautiful year round. Nice trail, safe for walking, running, bike riding. Plenty of scenery to enjoy and maybe photograph. Informative plaques are great! They even provide specific sanitary bags to dispose of what your dog may have left behind. Easy

This is a comfortable park for our church potlucks because it has the large oversized Pavilion to get out of the sun or out of the rain. There is room to run around as well as a playground and other amenities. It has lots of parking and lots of grass
