I was there at a day pass, client got me a day at canyon Ranch for appreciation. Wow, what a gift. Learned meditation and yoga to a higher depth. Their massage was incredible. Food was clean and so good. Grounds are very much desert and well tailored to zen gardens. You must take some classes, lots to do so hard not to want to do them all. I love their robes and wish I had bought one.

This was my first visit to a Canyon Ranch resort, and while there were some positive aspects, I left with significant concerns. The staff was incredibly attentive, going out of their way to ensure that my friends and I had a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The spa services were lovely, and the rooms, though average, were clean. About half of the fitness instructors, along with all the experts leading the academic health and wellness lectures, were experienced and knowledgeable.||However, despite these positives, I’m troubled by the state of the property, especially considering Canyon Ranch's reputation as a world-class resort. Based on our three-day stay from Thursday to Sunday, it’s evident that the facility is in dire need of an upgrade. The entire resort feels outdated, stuck in the 1980s, which is disappointing for a property at this price point. The spa area, in particular, smelled musty, and the hot tubs had brown residue and debris at the bottom. The relaxation rooms, once probably luxurious, now appear dark, dingy, and worn out. A more modern, organic refresh is sorely needed.||The fitness classes were a mixed bag. While some instructors were excellent, one in particular stood out for all the wrong reasons. Her yoga and weight lifting classes were poorly cued, lacking safe guidance and modifications. Many participants, myself included, found her instructions unclear, and her habit of wearing dirty gym shoes from the street into the barefoot space felt unsanitary. Unfortunately, she led multiple classes during our stay, and since Canyon Ranch doesn’t list instructor names on the schedule, we were unable to avoid her sessions.||The food was another disappointment. It was a solid C-, with everything tasting institutionalized, reminiscent of a nursing home menu. I understand that the ranch is undergoing construction and operating with an abbreviated space and menu, but the quality was underwhelming. Several guests mentioned that the food used to be much better, which only added to our disappointment.||Overall, while there were enjoyable moments during our stay, Canyon Ranch Tucson clearly needs significant improvements to live up to its world-class reputation. ||I welcome a personal conversation with someone at CR Tuscon to hear their thoughts.

A big thank you to Samantha at the front desk for providing exceptional customer service! Despite having a rough day, she showed up to work and ensured our experience was fantastic. Thank you so much, Samantha! I'd also like to give a shout-out to Felix, the Security Guard, for being super cool! He engaged with our group, made us feel welcomed, and ensured our safety. Thank you, Felix!

Wow, what an incredible experience! I spent four nights at Canyon Ranch and feel completely refreshed. The customer service was exceptional, and the healthy, delicious food was a highlight. Each day offered a wide variety of activities to choose from, ensuring there was never a dull moment. Special thanks to Mark, who picked me up from the airport, and Jerry, who dropped me off. Both were so friendly and provided many insights into Canyon Ranch and Tucson. I also want to thank Colleen in the gift shop for her friendliness, Lindsay in the boutique for going above and beyond with activity suggestions tailored to my interests, Adam for the profound "Soul Journey" experience, and Sandra for her amazing hot stone massage, engaging conversation, and the mocktail recommendation to restore electrolytes after my activities. Shivani and Pat were also incredibly helpful with their readings. Everyone at Canyon Ranch was fantastic, making my stay truly memorable. I will definitely make this an annual trip.

Our recent visit to Canyon Ranch left us rejuvenated and inspired. Upon arrival, the staff greeted us warmly. We received a delightful beach-sized bag that included: a personalized, stainless-steel water bottle; a booklet of scheduled activities; and a t-shirt—such a thoughtful touch.||Jude, a seasoned staffer, made us feel right at home. He even took us to his office, sharing fascinating Canyon Ranch memorabilia and stories of its humble beginnings. Skyla guided us through every building, offering tips and insights about the grounds. Her personable approach made the tour enjoyable.||The food was a highlight—light, nourishing and delicious. And the wait staff anticipated our requests before we did!||Our room had all the comforts: a fridge, filtered water faucet, plush robes (spa-like), and an ambiance with adjustable lighting and fans.||The spa area was a sanctuary. I dipped into the cold plunge, which was invigorating then indulged in the saltwater hot tub. The quiet room, complete with cucumber slices for the eyes, was blissful.||Jennifer’s lymphatic massage left me feeling renewed. Her friendly demeanor had us laughing by the end.||I enjoyed the Art of Origami led by a different Jennifer who had us feeling like pros by the end as we left with a beautiful dangling, origami piece to showcase at home.||The team and fellow guests were warm and welcoming. Water stations and cool refreshments dotted the property. We explored the 2-mile trail along the perimeter—a peaceful escape. The overall grounds exuded peace with ponds, no cellphone calls (except in designated areas), and lovely, soft music in the dining areas.||Check-out was a breeze. Since we drove, all we had to do was leave our keys in the room and were offered to indulge on property as late as 5 p.m.||In summary, our stay at Canyon Ranch was a harmonious blend of relaxation, wellness, and unexpected delights. Highly recommended!

I recently visited Canyon Ranch with a friend, and while our overall experience was enjoyable, there were some significant issues that have left me feeling quite disappointed. Let me start by saying that the food at Canyon Ranch was delicious, and we appreciated the variety of spa treatments and classes available. However, our positive experience took a sour turn on the last day of our stay. To our surprise and dismay, we were informed that we would be charged double the amount we had initially paid at the time of booking. This came as a shock to us, as nowhere in the booking process or on any of the confirmations did it indicate that the initial payment was only 50% of the total cost. We felt misled and deceived by the lack of transparency regarding the pricing structure. After discussing the matter with the staff, we were told that it is standard procedure to pay the full amount at the time of booking, which only added to our frustration. It seems there may have been a glitch in the website or communication breakdown, but regardless, the result was that we were charged double without any prior notification. Had we been aware of the true total cost upfront, we likely would have chosen alternative accommodations. Paying double the expected amount significantly impacted our overall perception of value for our stay. In hindsight, the experience was not worth the inflated price tag. While I appreciate the positive aspects of our visit, the unexpected financial burden has left a sour taste in my mouth. I hope that Canyon Ranch can address these issues to ensure future guests are provided with accurate and transparent pricing information. Given the circumstances, I believe a refund would be a fair resolution to compensate for the lack of clarity and unexpected charges during our stay.

I was desperately in need of a getaway from all the stress in my life and take charge of my health, and picked Canyon Ranch based on various reviews. I was torn between Canyon Ranch Tucson, The Ranch Malibu, and Miraval. I picked CR mainly due to its amazing medical set-up. Miraval does not have medical, and Malibu is a bit too intense for a beginner. Little did I realize that I was stepping into an oasis in the desert! I flew into Phoenix and took a car to CR. I spent 6 nights and 5 days under the Get Healthy plan which includes all health appointments. It has been absolutely amazing! Their spa is quite nice too and I got a treatment everyday after a day of hectic workout. I did cardio, strength, yoga and meditation. I did their signature treatments, deep tissue, facial, and sound meditation. Everything was amazing! I love that they do not nickel and dime. They have golf carts to take you from one place to another. Everyone is super friendly. They have ample options on the menu and had omelette and pasta stations, a salad bar everyday for lunch and dinner. I truly loved being here, and the people are so friendly. The medical team is amazing. They check everything - bone density, cancer, etc., they do a sleep test, put together a health and nutrition plan that is actionable. In a way, you get much much more than what you pay for. Their lectures are really awesome and so eye-opening. Some classes were not up to the mark - for example, one yoga teacher didn't do much and kept talking non-stop or just breathing, but others were amazing. I loved their boxing workout too. But overall the experience is totally worth it. Once I got here I got recommendations from others about which technician to book for specific treatments and got a really good deep tissue massage. I highly highly recommend this place. It is so relaxed too, you don't need to dress up. I love the relaxed and no-stress vibe. It has truly been life-changing for me. They invite guest lecturers and authors too, and I attended the visiting author's lectures and left a changed person. Everything is backed by science. I have to now figure out how to continue the great work in real life. The coaches do offer the option to check in on an ongoing basis to stay on track. If I had to pick one negative, since I am vegetarian, after 2 weeks I would have tired of the menu. But I didn't really try the Double U cafe which had options too. And they do an amazing job of keeping everything healthy. The chocolate cake was yummy but cake was made from zucchini. The waffles were made with sweet potato. And they give you the portions that you should eat, not XL or Venti that has become the norm in most places.

Absolutely epic night at Canyon Ranch with Tyler Hubbard. So cool to hear that the amazing spiritual provider Adam Smith is a childhood friend of Tyler’s. Congrats to all - so well done from start to finish. Also had a wonderful Rekki treatment and the food has been excellent.
