Hit up Canyon City BBQ for lunch based on it’s strong positive reviews. The staff were all professional and good at communicating with customers. We were seated quickly. The wait staff were quick to take the order and shortly thereafter the food began to arrive. There was a variety of sauces available to enhance the flavors of the order. All items ordered were flavorful and delicious. If you like BBQ, the Canyon City BBQ is worth the visit.

Four stars only because of mac and cheese. I liked it but my dining companion didn't. Cornbread is spot on. We both enjoyed chicken, pork, and brisket trio of sliders. Baked beans and cole slaw were delicious and portions of all items were generous. The service was outstanding !

First time here and man they did not disappoint! Lucilles who?? Everything in the sample platter was delicious and tender, pork ribs were good and the salad with brisket was great!

Very good BBQ store, I understand it’s been around a long time, and now I can see why. It’s a little off the beaten track. Friendly service, excellent (!!) prices, large servings ! I had the Boss Hog sandwich ($13) = pulled pork with bacon strips between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches ! Wow, could eat only 1/2, the rest went home. Recommended.

This place was a nice find. Was in the area and was lucky enough to find this spot. The service was great. Staff friendly. The restaurant has a nice family picnic style vibe and style. The menu had lots of options and the food was absolutely delicious!!! Great portions. Would def go back!

Location, Good, Service: Good, Food for price received:Okay, Parking: street ( where you can find it), Overall : 1st time try and the place inside was very nice. The parking is just as posted where you can find it but there seemed to be a decent crowd so they did search. The meat was tender and very good. The cornbread was also worth a try. Yes I will come back again...

I haven't been to Canyon City BBQ in a while. I was very happy to come back to this little gem. The food was great. Service was awesome. Could not ask for more. I got the Sampler Platter because I could not decide on one dish. This did not disappoint!
