Canopy Cocktails & Garden - Bar in Charlotte - 118 E Kingston Ave #10, USA

I believe I have found my new hangout. The cocktails are amazing and the vibe is really great! Staff are great as well. Katie was awesome! She made sure we always had a drink and we’re enjoying ourselves. I highly recommend Canopy. It does get busy later in the night but that can be expected with how great this place is.

Stopped by the Canopy bar Friday afternoon during my walk on the Rail Trail. This was my first time at this bar, we chose to stop here because they were playing 2000's R&B music which was calling out to us. As we walked in we were greeted by a lovely hostess who sat us down outside at the bar. The bartenders were so cool, they are really the reason why our experience was very great! It was my dad's birthday so they gave us a complimentary first drink. The St Germain Margarita was so delicious I had to get it a second time, my dad tried the WU-TANG CRAN! It was very delicious - the black pepper and habanero rim gave the drink a sweet and spicy taste. I highly recommend visiting this bar on a Friday or Saturday evening - that's when the crowd comes in and the music is very is turned up louder. The parking in the area is mainly paid parking so prepare to pay, there are also parking garages around the East/West Blvd rail station. Park Mobile app is very easy and convenient for paid parking in SouthEnd. Cheers!

Very cool new spot, amazing off-menu matcha martini (pictured) that was delicious, gorgeous, tufted leather armchairs & sofas by a double sided fireplace, candles flickering everywhere, bookshelves, outdoor space with colorful lighting and lots of plants. Excellent music like Supersonic by Skrillex. Will 100% be back. Sexy vibes.

Great vibes inside this place! The drinks cost more than the surrounding restaurants and bars but you go there for the ambience. I had Kate who served me and she was super nice and personable. Can’t wait to go back!

Straight up disgusted by the level of no maintenance to the restrooms at this place. Completely lost my appetite for food and drinks after having to use the bathroom. Also, was told by the men in my group that the their bathroom was worse and had 2 inches of piss on the floor that everyone was walking through. Drinks are $20 a pop and they don’t show you an itemized copy. I’m pretty sure they are overcharging intentionally at this point, thinking everyone is intoxicated. Super sketchy, won’t be returning.

I've been here several times. Friday and Saturday nights are usually crowded. Sunday afternoon is light. The bartenders are good. They can make classic cocktails. The signature cocktails are just OK. As others have mentioned, the ambiance is great. The place is more of a cocktail lounge vibe. Definitely not a quiet speakeasy. It is worth checking out. There's plenty of room, so it's good for large groups or a date night.

Oh La la.. what can I say about this place besides its my favorite solo/date place. It’s spectacular, amazing, the decor in it is jaw dropping. Outside is such a chilling and amazing place to sit. Or you can actually go have some work done on your laptop. They have private spots inside as well. Go check it out goddamnit

Cool bar on the Rail Trail with indoor and outdoor seating. There’s an awesome two sided fireplace in the lounge area. The bartender made me a custom drink which was pretty good. We came on a Sunday around 8pm and there were just a few people there.
