Akua and Dale are great hosts and provide everything possible for a wonderful short or long stay. I needed something for a couple months and ended up staying four after having a great experience. The furnishings are very fresh and new with no need to bring anything but a toothbrush! The setting and location is also convenient close to downtown as well as the airport. Laundry facilities are on site and the flat panel TV with extended cable is rare to find all at a very reasonable price. Thanks for a great stay!

My husband and I were in a huge bind and really needed a place to stay for a month. Akua was kind and very accommodating. Cannon House was perfect for our needs. There is parking on site and the apartments have everything you need. Akua went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed and wanted in the apartment. She even went so far as to switch out a small sofa for a recliner, just because we wanted it! Super clean and the location is fantastic. We took the bus multiple times from this place, but also getting around by car works too. Great yoga studio within walking distance was an added bonus. Thank you so much Cannon House!

We stayed at Hill House for three months this summer while house hunting in Spokane. What a delightful experience! More like home away from home then a serviced apartment. Located within walking distance of beautiful parks, shopping, grocery, restaurants: everything you could possibly need. Dale and Akua are wonderful hosts that take great pride in their property and taking good care of their guests. A perfect plave to call home!

I was fortunate to find Cannon House during a recent extended stay in Spokane It's located in what's called the lower South Hill, a neighborhood I found conveniently placed. The house was renovated for its current purpose with quality materials and construction. My apartment was comfortably furnished and well-stocked (and re-stocked) with everything I ever needed. Everything in it worked like it should. The wi-fi was fast and the satellite TV had more channels than I ever treat myself to at home. But maybe the best part of Cannon House is the proprietors, Dale and Akua. These are good folks who genuinely care about their customers. They're both proactive in the operation of their business and conscientious in responding to the needs of their tenants. People like that make all the difference. I recommend Cannon House and won't hesitate to stay there again.

When I moved to Spokane from Germany a few months ago, I had booked a fully furnished studio in Hill House for a month. That month came and went, and I never moved out. Akua and Dale are fantastic hosts. They will do everything to make you feel at home. I was taking the Amtrak from Seattle, which reaches Spokane well after midnight. The train was late that day. Akua was there, waiting patiently to pick me up and drop me home. Over the next few days, they provided me whatever I wanted. I wanted to replace my round dining table with a square one, and they did that. I needed more storage, and they renovated my walk-in closet so that I could hang more clothes. I wanted to eventually move to a larger unit in the same building, and they helped me move all my furniture. I love living there and am not likely to move anywhere else. Lots of large windows that let in natural light. Just the kind of place I had envisioned. ||||The location is fantastic. Both Rosaeurs and Huckleberry's Natural Market are walking distance. There are many good restaurants you could walk to. The neighborhood is safe and beautiful. Most importantly for me, this place is well connected to two bus routes (#43 and #42) that take you to Downtown directly. Although I was planning to buy a car initially, I am not anymore. Hill House has given me a family in Akua and Dale, and many opportunities to live healthy (great neighborhood to walk around, I can go grocery shopping everyday, and do not need a car to get to work). This also helps me save tons of money. Akua and Dale have always been there for me, taking me to the dentist, giving me rides at odd hours, recommending places, sharing meals, dropping me cute little things outside my door. I love to cook, and Akua always leaves a variety of spice boxes outside my door. Both of them are very receptive to the needs of their tenants. I highly recommend this place. I love living here, and it makes a huge positive impact on my life everyday. I came here to live temporarily, and ended up never moving out.||||In summary, safe neighborhood, lots of natural light, the best hosts to take care of you, great location, you will not need a car, you are a two minute walk away from restaurants and grocery stores. You don't pay for anything else other than rent (no utilities, no parking, no cable and internet costs, they even refill all my spices). It's a sweet sweet deal.

We stayed at Hill House (the other house owned by the Resers) for one month while waiting to move into our new house. We stayed the first week in a studio apartment, then the next three weeks upstairs in a one-bedroom. Everything is provided: linens, cooking utensils, paper towels, tissue, even laundry soap! It is "cozy", to be sure, but so much better than staying in a hotel and eating every meal at a restaurant for a month! Akua was very attentive to our needs: did we want a slow cooker? and iron and ironing board? a toaster?, etc. There is a very nice grocery store 1/2 block away and a pizza restaurant across the street. The neighborhood is lovely and full of friendly people. The absolutely only drawback was the traffic noise from Lincoln, which is an "arterial". The rooms were very clean. If you are looking for a short-term solution, we highly recommend Hill House!

My husband and I took a travel nurse assignment at Sacred Heart from April-July 2016 and were fortunate enough to book temporary housing at Cannon House Apt #5 during this timeframe. We could not have asked for a better arrangement or experience.||||Hosts: Akua and Dale are above and beyond amazing hosts. They're easily accessible and easy to communicate with. They are constantly coming by to drop off mail and check in on their tenants and to attend to whatever business needs to be taken care of around the property. They went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and were flexible regarding some special requests.||||Property and apt: It's a renovated two story house compartmentalized into 6 different apartments. Each apartment is fully furnished. Ours was apt #5. Though each apt is quite small, it's the perfect space for people that need something temporarily.||||Amenities: We never came across a time where we needed something and Akua and Dale didn't have it. From dining to living to bedroom to a fully stocked kitchen, they thought of it ALL. You don't need to come to Cannon House with anything but your clothes and personal preference on belongings. There are two sets of washers and dryers in the basement that are quarter fed. $1.50 for a load to be washed and $1.00 for a load to be dried. Stock up on quarters. We sure did.||||Location: Cannon House is located in lower South Hill, a rock's throw from the freeway and downtown. We oftentimes walked to downtown. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. South Hill is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods. It is so full of character and history. ||||Parking: There are 4 parking spaces outside of the house and 2 garage parking spaces, which are available for an extra fee per month. If you have more than one car, like we did, there is ample street parking. We never had trouble parking in front of the house on the street for our 2nd car.||||I can't recommend Cannon House enough. You will love it here.

Spokane has a secret sweet spot. There is no better deal or better feeling place. Try them out so you can see how right I am. It will make you feel like Spokane is a beauty from yesteryear with free functioning wi fi and cable. Feels like a home, not a business. You'll feel more like a favorite relative than a customer. Book early, people are learning. I can say that as a full time traveller, I have spent 50% of my time the last three years here. If they could just make winter go away I'd be permanent. One warning, I think the squirrels watch you too much.
