great customer service at check in this was on Wednesday, and there was a nice spacious room. We got 2 queen beds, plenty of space, and very comfortable beds. Nice pillows as well!
The staff is outstanding! Friendly and helpful. The rooms are perfectly configured for work. My spouse could hang out in the bedroom while I worked at the kitchen island. Comfortable and functional.
While visiting family in Waco for Thanksgiving break, I was impressed by the reviews for the Candlewood Suites. After being on the road I chose to utilize the restroom prior to check in. I was then rudely approached by the owner, maintenance man, and receptionist on whether or not “I had a room”. As a Loyalty Member with IHG, I was very dissatisfied with the service and the overall lack of hospitality that is heavily advertised on the website.
Nice rooms, clean but a bit himid and suite was roomy. They need to consider putting an overhang by the front door. It was pouring rain when we were loading and unloading and with the dogs, everything got soaked.
Positive: Right off the interstate & easy to find. Friendly staff & clean room. Negative: I stayed for five days & housekeeping never came once to empty trash or bring fresh towels. I had to call the front desk myself for fresh towels after the 3rd day.
If I could give it more stars I would. Staff was awesome. The rooms the best I have ever stayed in.
DAVE the night guy is an insanely welcoming individual. Very down to earth but also extremely professional and caring. Going the extra mile is natural for him. One of the most GENUINE hotel folks I have met in a long time. Southern hospitality at its FINEST! Felt extremely safe and secure knowing he’s down there. Be well!
Clean beds, carpets and flooring. The bathtub, sink and toilet were clean too. The desk, kitchenette and counters were also spotless. A clean room is extremely important to me and Candlewood staff do an excellent job cleaning!!! The entire room smelled clean. I first noticed the lobby floors were clean along with the elevator and the hallway. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the towels were great. When I checked in, the staff were very friendly and welcoming! Checkout was smooth, easy and again the staff were accommodating and helpful. I will stay here again. Thank you to the employees at Candlewood for making my stay in Waco beautiful.
