Stayed here for 1 night because it had good ratings. When we got to our room it was very small but clean. The toilet became problematic right away and had to get a plunger from the front desk, they never commented about it, even at checkout. The air conditioner was very noisy and at about 3 am. It got very uncomfortable in the room, I dont know what happened but it finally started working again. Wont stay here again
The Expedia reservations made weeks in advance could not be filled and a staff member, Joanie, waited until the day before our stay during our military move to notify us of this failure.
The rooms are clean. The staff is wonderful. The workout room is convenient. The fact that your stay gets you into local gym is awesome. The bed is comfortable. The laundry room is clean and the machines work great.
Stayed for 1 night traveling across country on I-70, with 2 large dogs, it was fine for our purpose, lots of decent restaurants nearby, nearby parks to walk the dogs, and rooms large (2 large dog crates) and clean. We typically stay at the higher IHG level Staybridge suites with the pups so this is definitely lower end, but the price point reflects that. The customer service was excellent (Jo)! It’s set back from the main road so less noise but still hear I-135 traffic. There is an honor system for snacks and food which was cute and lots to choose from. The gym was surprisingly decent after/before a day in the car. My only negative thing was little to no room in the bathroom for items so a long term stay might be challenging but we had a handicap room so maybe that is why and there were no King bed options, perhaps they were all booked.
The motel was very easy to get to, and the person at the front desk was very welcoming when we arrived. There were 2 luggage carts available. The room was large and nice and clean. All the staff we ran into walking our dogs were quite` pleasant and cordial. There was a full kitchenette, desk, recliner and 2 queen beds. The shower was nice with a shampoo and soap dispenser provided. The bed was pretty firm, but there was a choice of either soft or firm pillows
Overall quality is consistent from hotel to hotel so you don’t have to worry about any surprises when you arrive..The hotel are almost always located in a convenient location for traveling.. near major highways… and restaurants are usually nearby…The cocktail hour event is very well done and generous.. and makes you feel like your stay is appreciated…. A nice bonus is the surrounding grounds are great for dog walking…Iverall the hotel feels like a resort.!!
Very welcoming staff made us feel at ease with traveling with our fury baby. Provided necessary info and made sure we “all” felt welcomed. Room was very comfortable and liked being able to have an adjoining room.
We have stayed here several times. We did book at another hotel down the road, but came right back to this Candlewood Hotel. The service is great, beds are cozy, along with great in room set up. They have a kitchenette with frig. Absolutely perfect stay for a great price.
James at the front desk was very accommodating! This guy needs a raise promotion or both! His customer service was top notch! We had a total of 9 rooms for a get together. They were spacious and clean! The breakfast was good as well.

Great hotel very clean great breakfast. Not a lot of this side of town but you don't have to worry about your vehicle or foot traffic and plenty of parking space.
The zoo is great and the staff was very helpful when I had questions. We went on a summer school field trip and the students enjoyed it. It was a super hot day and it was nice to be able to go into the a/c in the museum and enjoy the exhibits.
