Is actually a pretty nice hotel, nice amenities and staff is very friendly and helpful. But will probably put this on the list of not to stay seeing as they allow smoking at every door in and out of the building. Some of us don't like walking through people's smoke ever times we want to go outside for a walk. So, was pretty much trapped in the room. Also, almost every time I used the stairs to get out, it smelled like Marijuana. For being a smoke free hotel, you sure do allow smoking everywhere. Will mark this one on my companies list of places NOT TO STAY.

Donald is a sweetiepie! We stayed here the last night of a 10 day road trip. We were tired, moody, hungry and tired 😫. I said what I said. Donald was so sweet and patient. We were able to check in early. Our rood was clean and cool. The perfect size for our group. Having multiple chairs in the room was a huge relief. I never realized hotel rooms only have 1 most of the time. So having 3 chairs and 3 adults in the room. It's the little things that make me happy!! The little store was great too. I was able to send my nephew down to get himself goodies and had it charged to the room, so easy and we didn't have to worry about him carrying money, cause he tends to loose it. Again, the little things. Anyway, we had a great stay. A+

So clean and comfortable! They went out of their way to make sure everything about your stay was great! Beds were comfy. The pool was nice even though we didn’t have a chance to use it. Close to nice restaurants. We will definitely be returning!

Candlewood suites was amazing all the way around! Clean rooms, gym, pool and all the amenities worked in the room perfectly. The staff was super nice, friendly and very efficient at their jobs. Thank you Jay for making my experience wonderful at this establishment. I will definitely be back, when I have another business trip to intend. Sincerely Lisha Johnson

Although our encounter with staff at the desk was pleasant enough, the hotel & rooms are in DESPERATE need of a renovation!!! UCK! Our Room was run down, rugs & furniture needing replacement. There was a dirty hand print on the wall (I don’t want to know the story behind that), a notable greasy spot on the chair, damage to the tub…The A/C in the room blew air straight to the beds’ head area, so there was a hefty cold draft every time it kicked in. We had to gerryrig a baffle using the chair & towels. The dreary hallway rugs showed numerous stains and places which were bleached out after over-cleaning. The whole place was sad and run down. The key thing to look for in hotels along well-traveled interstates: New is good. This place is anything but. Can not recommend.

Several points I want to make about why I will always choose this hotel for my Pensacola stays. Let's just say...in this day and age Kindness Matters and is not easily found anymore!!.... except for Donald and Jay!!!! Donald is the kindest person you will ever find at a hotel check-in desk!! My parents who both have to use walkers just wanted to be in their room and relaxing after a long day. Donald was so kind and fast!... by the time my parents got inside our keycards were ready and we went directly to our room..... and it was an hour earlier than "check-in" time. Donald is a zero stress and pure joy to deal with! I also must mention Jay. He works the night time front desk and is just a blessing and so kind!! We wanted for nothing!! Extra towels ✅️ Extra blankets for my parents ✅️ Oh and for someone like me who is picky about her hotels and checks the sheets and room cleanliness etc.... I am completely comfortable staying here!! Housekeeping is spot on and the beds and pillows are just lovely. Stay here.... u will be happy you did! Oh and one more thing..... thankyou for having more than 1 chair in the room and a recliner!!!

Location has homeless people everywhere, the hotel is dirty and stinky, very outdated. They stole $100 from my account and are saying it is showing nothing on their end. I was hung up on by a staff member that said they billed my account for the correct amount and there was no deposit taken, yet there's an extra $100 taken from me by candlewood suites. The carpet in our room was so sticky your feet couldn't even slide. Everything in the room was chewed up by animals. I smelled the carpet and it reeked of the nastiest sour smell I have ever smelled. Rotten garbage smelled better. I'll be making a police report for the stolen money and I'm in contact with my bank about it as well. I would give this place negative stars if I could.

Neighborhood isn't very safe. Hotel staff is very nice, but long term stays only get service once a week. Gym is good. Washers and dryers are free. Pool is good size. Patio and grills available. Lending locker has slow cookers, blenders, books and movies available. No free breakfast available, but free coffee and some fruit is available.
