Candlewood Suites Orlando - Lake Buena Vista, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Golden Oak - 12341 Winter Garden Vineland Rd, USA

Convenient location for Disney fans and there are good restaurants around. Staff was nice. However, some things to keep in mind about this hotel because we were definitely thrown off. Towels and trash have to be taken out yourself everyday because housekeeping is not done unless asked to. Therefore you have to also ask for more towels at the front desk which are limited. There are no fans in the bathroom. Plumbing is not great and there is borderline sewage smelling water from the bathroom sink. Expect temporary hot water followed by room temperature water at best when showering. There is also a constant noise that we couldn’t find how to turn off.

Good location, nice staff, nice rooms/suites. However, our family initially booked this hotel because they claim to offer shuttle services to the parks. We later found out that there is in fact only one shuttle to each park in the morning, and that’s it. There is no return/pick-up shuttle from the parks and if you miss your one chance of getting on the shuttle, you’re out of luck. For the decent price, I guess one can’t really complain, but just be prepared to have to drive you and your family to the parks if you book this hotel.

This is a fantastic place to stay. Great option near Disney. We stayed at Art of Animation with a family group and opted to do a recovery day here before flying out. I sincerely wish we had stayed here instead of on property. The 1 King 2 Queen suit is a fantastic layout for a big family. We are a family of six. This would have been great for a week stay. Full size fridge and kitchenette, two living areas.

We stayed here for our holiday trip to Orlando. We visited both the Universal Studios and Disneyworld parks. We were within 8 miles (or less) of each location. Getting around was not difficult at all. The room/hotel was clean, spacious, and inviting. The staff were all so friendly, helpful, and attentive. I will admit, there weren’t a great deal of “eateries” nearby, especially for night one when we first landed. We did have to drive about a mile, mile and a half to find something to eat, however not a bit deal at all. Otherwise, this was an excellent experience for my husband and I. We did have an issue with some kids that were staying there, we called the front desk, and they handled it immediately. We could not ask for better service. We will most definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel last weekend. Ours was a weekend trip to visit some Disney parks. I loved the hotel location, lots of good places to eat walking distance. They have a shuttle to some of the parks. The room was spacious and clean, it even had a kitchenette ( which we did not use) but definitely a plus. Front desk staff was attentive and friendly. Ileana was helpful and pleasant. All in all was a great value. The only con is that it doesn't have a restaurant or breakfast. We knew this before we book so it wasn't a big deal for us. They do have a little shop with basic necessities, coffee etc..and charge fair prices. Will stay again.

Our family of four has stayed twice at this property and each time it was exquisite. The rooms are expansive, clean, and the layout is perfect for our family of four. Our two girls shared the living room, while my husband and I stayed in the bedroom. We adored the fact that there were two thermostats as well. We prefer cold, while the girls are snugglers. The kitchenette is perfect for keeping snacks handy for the girls and heating water for bottles. Everything is well stocked and tidy. The room is quiet, and the beds are so comfortable, you'll have no problem sleeping in this home away from home. Staff are accommodating and friendly. We requested a crib the day of and it was delivered to our room before we could even park and open the door. Also just a short drive away from Disney properties--it's an excellent value especially for the price. Will stay again and again!

From the moment of check in to the time we checked out, everything was PERFECT! The rooms were larger than we expected. The suite was so clean! The bed was comfortable and A/C was nice and cold! We will definitely be staying here again!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was really helpful, the room was super comfortable and clean. Our fur baby is a member of the family and we were super glad we could bring him with us for our short vacation. I'm giving them 4 stars because the coffee machine outlet didn't work and my coffee is extremely important to me in the morning. Overall a great experience, and we will come back
