Getting there was a little confusing, maps took us across the interstate and down the outer road then crossed back to come down a one way road to the hotel to find out it took us right past the street that goes in the back of the place. Not their problem, a mapping problem. It was a beautiful place, awesome indoor heated pool, very nice rooms. Place was clean. Staff were polite and respectful. Not a lot of parking for.the location but was good enough for our needs. I would return to this place and highly recommend it. We didn't get there until late, around 9 p.m. and left early the next day.
Check in was pleasant. The clerk was friendly and engaging making me feel welcome. She gave me some helpful information regarding local restaurants. The bed and pillows were wonderful. The television was a little challenging to figure out how to operate, but I finally figured it out. Check out was easy and once more the clerk was very friendly, In this era of staffing shortages these two were good finds for the hotel.
We were staying here due to it's location relative to several family events that were occurring in different locations in the area. We have always enjoyed the Candlewood rooms and the single bedroom suite was perfect for our extended stay. I want to point out that the front desk and housekeeping staff were phenomenal. Personable, professional, and very customer focused! Kudos to all of them!
The hotel is clean, it in itself is similar to all hotels. It doesn't have a continental breakfast, but I stayed for almost 3 months worth of work trips because of the staff. Especially the women who work the front desk. All staff is exceptional and friendly and made it so wonderful everytime I came. I'd recommend to anyone because the details and help and making sure you're taken care of was priceless! Deeply grateful and will definitely go out of my way to visit again!
Very clean room, upgraded us when we checked in. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Nice location and very clean rooms. Were very disappointed when we got there, with groceries to cook something up, and we thought the stovetop didn’t work. We ended up making a microwave meal instead the first night and then the next night we stayed we put in a special request for a room with a stovetop that actually worked. After thinking we got yet another room with a faulty stovetop we contacted the staff only for them to tell us that the timer on the wall controlled it. We had initially thought it was just a plain timer to monitor cooking times but we even tried it initially too just in case. After using it though we found out that the burners had to be on, in addition with the timer set, for the thing to even show that it worked. It was something on our part that we hadn’t thought about but still was very disappointed the first night when we had got groceries and everything to cook. We could’ve contacted staff the first night but didn’t think it would’ve changed anything since we had considered it not working. Also saw other reviews about the stovetop not working so don’t think we’re the only ones that experienced the same problem. Makes sense now that the timer controls it but instructions or something posted somewhere would’ve been helpful since we did try the timer function initially just without the burners turned on.
The hotel rooms are pretty outdated. There was clear water damage on the floor(broken tiles and such) in the bathroom and the cover on the cushioned chair made the room feel dirty. The room was well equipped in the kitchen area and the shower, and we enjoyed having a/c control which was reliable. The staff were kind and the location was great for us. What keeps it at 5 stars rather than 4 despite the latter is that it was very affordable while not being sketchy or truly concerning. I probably will choose somewhere else in the future unless they give the rooms an update.
The property is under construction, but it was decently clean and priced well. Mattress and pillows weren't terribly comfy, but they weren't the worst I've experienced. Staff was all very friendly. Room didn't seem super clean, but no living bugs and what hotel is super clean these days? I would stay again if needed.
