Candlewood Suites Joplin, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Joplin - 3512 S Rangeline Rd, USA

A speedy check- in was what I experienced recently. The ease of finding my room so near the elevator also was ideal. I enjoyed having the convenience of a store to purchase necessities as added value. The room keys worked on first try, and the first impressions of my room met with my full approval. I fully trust this hotel chain.

Stayed with my husband and our toddler for over a week while my husband was on a business trip, it was really nice! Celeste and Kim were so sweet and helpful with anything we needed. Our room was very clean, the complementary washer and dryer were so nice to have and it was just a great experience over all. We'll definitely stay again if we travel back to Joplin.

I always love visiting Joplin, mostly because the people there are always so friendly. The staff at Candlewood Suites Joplin are certainly no exception. When I stayed recently, I was greeted by a truly welcoming staff. My room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and it had everything I needed. I noticed that some reviews claim that the hotel is hard to find; however, I drove right to it with no problem at all. While I didn't use any of it, the pantry across from the front desk looked to be well stocked, and the hotel offers a lending cabinet that was chock full of anything one might possibly need. I only stayed for one night, and I chose this property because the hotel where I normally stay was fully booked. On future visits to Joplin, I'll certainly go with Candlewood Suites Joplin as my first choice. I highly recommend!

I enjoyed my stay here. Beds were extra comfy, TV had hundreds of channels, perfect for watching the Olympics as when I was there. If I needed the front desk, all I had to do was ring a bell and somebody was there to assist me. Lots of restaurants in walking distance.

If you love the smell of cigarette smoke, this is the place for you! Stayed here for a quick break on a trip, and I will never do so again. The room smelled like someone just smoked an entire pack of cigarettes in the bed. The sheets reeked of smoke. I do not suggest staying here.

We were first set up in a handicap room on the first floor. Had a good night sleep and as we were leaving to run errands Kim noticed that we were smokers and asked if we wanted to be moved to a smoking room. I was excited that that was even an option, we have quit asking as most hotels don't have smoking rooms. It is very appreciated to find a hotel that allows smoking. We are truck drivers and we will book Candlewood every time we come through Joplin. Kim and another female (didn't get her name) makes the stay more enjoyable with the smiling faces and always friendly when we see them!! Thank you for having such friendly and accommodated staff!!!

Positive: Was a nice clean hotel to stay the night. Negative: Had problem with the wifi couldn't get some of my programs to open.

This was my first trip to Joplin, MO for work. Although I wasn't very impressed with the area or location of this hotel, the staff made my trip beyond exceptional. From the moment I arrived I met Kim at the front desk. She gave me a great welcome and even went out of her way to try to assist me with a laptop charger since I forgot mine back in NC. Ethan, the manager, took time from his day (everyday through the week) to greet me personally and even tried to offer setting my company up with great rates for continued business. Even made a new friend with Celeste who seems to have a genuine personality and also took time from her day to have some conversations with me. I met a variety of other people I enjoyed speaking with but didn't have the chance to find out their names but the hotel was very clean, great customer service and will be back when I am in the area. Again the only negative thing I can say is the location but I can't say I saw many great locations in this area. Regardless this is a great group of people and looking forward to seeing them again.
