The park has some major issues to fix. One gate doesn’t fully close and it is a large gate connecting two sections. I had more bad encounters here than good. It is equally as social for owners aswell, although many OWNERS DO NOT WATCH AFTER THEIR DOGS. My dog was just attacked by another husky yesterday and the owner was rude about stating my dog should be on a leash upon entering.. We were clearly exiting and on the complete other side of this party. I had to yank one too many bigger dogs off my GSD for attempting to mount them over and over again. I’m convinced this is the worse dog park in Eugene.
We use the dog park and it is wonderful. Only wish the water for the dogs was on at both ends of the enclosure. First entrance is rarely working. Far side is always full.
There are 3 different fenced areas here. One specifically for small dogs and 2 for any kind. All the areas are large enough for the dogs to run and not be crowded. There's running water here all year round and people generally keep kiddie pools for the dogs to cool off in on either side of the park. There are also usually bags in the bag stations in case you forget. The only reason its not 5 stars is because I wish it had more shade and, like every dog park I've been to, there's poop lying around (although there does seem to be slightly less here than elsewhere).
Great park. Good size area and 25 pound and under area for the small dogs. I like it. Not enough shaded sitting area for the humans though.
Very disappointing. Just two large, flat areas. Extremely limited shady area. Provided plastic chairs are filthy. One trashcan for poop bags - on the completelyoppositeside from the entrance! Thus, requires a lot of walking. Must park along street. Again, too much walking! Very boring.
It's a great park with plenty of dog park room, soccer goals, playground for the little ones. I've been there several times and everyone I encountered was pretty friendly. My dogs and I always look forward to going back.
I like it because there's no parking and that keeps me from venturing over and getting fresh air. Eugene community planing at it's best.👍
Huge park, very well maintained. Three separate areas, one of which is specific to small dogs.
Great hike. Not too challenging but enough to give you a workout and a reward of a fabulous view from the top.
Can be a little busy but I found everyone is friendly and enjoying the hike.
Yeah. So anyway. I went wandering. This Park is right here. Never went anywhere. I am not the only person who found it. All kinds of Human Beings here. Frolicsome. Noisome. Happy to be alive, Human Beings. Wide open. Useful. A delight. S
Great walk pleasant people try and do together walk in 45 minutes. The best I've done is 50 minutes. Beautiful and always interesting things turkeys owls.
I just love this park so much. It's never too busy, but it's absolutely gorgeous and there is always good people and dog watching! If you want a nice place to relax in the sun come here.
Cute park with a massive playground and open areas. The real gem are small pathways thru the treeline down to the water for a secluded spot to hang in the shade and listen to the water
My family & I love coming here. Its kind of a special place for us. Amazing view of Eugene & breathtaking view of the mountains. Drive up to the top always freaks me out tho, its unnerving cuz it's pretty steep!
It's a great park to walk. Right next to the Willamette River, the mixture of green and bubbling clear water create a very nice environment for a walk or bike. Across the bridge is the university of Oregon, and many office buildings. Great area to re
Lovely little jaunt in South Eugene. Typically quite clean, somewhat vertical and parking can be a bit tight at the bottom of the trail so arrive early or be lucky!
This place is now my new favorite lunch spot.
I discovered this place about two weeks ago and have gone back 5 times for lunch since.
My go to smoothie- Chocolate Cherry Smoothie
My go to Meal- I LOVED the sushi but everything is good!

This was a surprise find on a trip to Eugene. We went on our first night; but based on the owner, friendly atmosphere, and crowd, we went back each night we were in the area.
