Candlelight Inn & Suites Hwy 69 near McAlester - Hotel in McAlester - 8241 US-69, USA

We came to this area for a school reunion and stayed one night. The room was large by today’s standards and was well maintained. We were on the back side of the building so the road noise that is mentioned by several was not a problem for us. In fact the hotel was very quiet. The Free breakfast was basically waffles, mini muffins and toast. The view off of the patio was very nice and if they had chairs out there to sit in it would be a great place to sit and relax. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. |I can recommend this hotel .

The hotel is older and furnishings are not modern but it is clean, spacious and comfortable. It is right on the highway so rooms at the front do have road noise but the hotel itself is quiet. Breakfast room is small but there is a gazebo at the back with an amazing view of the countryside. That view was a big surprise! Breakfast was waffles, oatmeal, orange juice, cereal, coffee. Great value for money!

Cute little hotel. Room was clean. Very large room. Receptionist was very friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was very limited. You can't beat $60 a night these days. There's a few parking spots for semi's on the side of the building.

Clean, quiet and comfortable. While it isnt modern, it is everything you need to get a restful night. Friendly staff. Easy check-in and check out. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. Fast and easy internet connection. Adequate continental breakfast included. Very reasonable pricing in today's economy. I would stay here again and would recommend to others needing a restful night. Thank you!

The inn is just on the edge of McAlister, Ok. It was pretty quiet even though it is right on the highway. There is a patio out back with a grill and decking. At one side you can see the pond out back. Nice view. Being up front, the hotel is dated, but overall it is clean. Our bed was comfortable, which was great considering we had driven a long distance. Our room was very large. There was a large lounge chair that felt like heaven. The room temperature was very good. There were two ceiling fans in the room, but we only needed to run one. The television worked well. For breakfast the choices were waffles, toast, cereal, a few pastries, milk , coffee and orange juice. The waffles could have been better and the coffee hotter. That is the only con that I can think of. The staff was friendly and bent over backwards to be helpful. They were great. The price was very good too. We also felt better staying outside of the main area of town. We stayed at a different hotel in McAlister about 2 years ago and really didn't feel safe in the parking lot. People were just hanging around. At Candlelight Inn we felt safe and thought that our truck would be safer too. We had no problems. We would stay again.

It is in such a beautiful location. We stopped by to get and idea of what kind if place it was for our wedding weekend and "wow!" The staff is super helpful and nice. The king bed rooms are bigger than pictured. The gazebo area is just right for those evenings to relax outside. Can't wait to stay. Thank you

Nice place to stay while passing through. Very reasonably priced as well. The rooms are a little outdated but they were very clean and it made a great place to crash for the night. For breakfast, they had a nice waffle machine and some other things to eat before we got back on the road. Felt like a very safe and secure location as well.

One of the best places to stay. Rooms are always super clean. The staff is amazing (shout out to our Lorrie ❤️ we love you) the view from the gazebo area is absolutely amazing. We enjoy our stay every time. Highly recommend.
