For just a scenic area, it was pretty nice. We attended the tree lighting and my daughter absolutely loved it. Lots of lights and loud music, she did laps around the tree with the other children

The most pretty area in Downtown. Love it at night. Muncie is welcoming and warm people,small independent businesses. This whole stretch is something to discover with friends or just by yourself. Wonderful little bars, gay friendly, nice evening strolls. Muncie has everything 😘
Canan Commons is a beautifully landscaped green space in downtown Muncie, at the juncture of High, Walnut and Mulberry Streets. The YMCA is on the east side of the Commons, while The Lofts at Roberts, Muncie Children's Museum, Horizon Convention Center, and Courtyard by Marriott hotel are on the west side of the Commons. Many activities and music events are held at Canan Commons throughout the year.
Great downtown location for outdoor events! Muncie is lucky to have this site!
Nice park downtown Muncie across from the Courtyard Marriott. My wife and I went there for light up downtown Muncie in December and it has plenty of space, good parking and walking distance to local shops and restaurants.
We enjoyed our evening at Fire Up Downtown Muncie.
We went to the Muncie Three Trails Music Series to see the Magical Mystical Band.. Everyone was having a great time . The band was awesome and I loved the is neon costumes. The weather was perfect for most of the evening but the show was cut short because of lightening. 💜
I really enjoy watching my Granddaughter play softball here. Concession stand is yummy, lots of choices and good food. Atmosphere is upbeat and fun to be there.

Beautiful park. A good place to hang a hammock. Plenty of trees space at the right distance. Very peaceful by the water, plenty of room for people to enjoy different aspects of the park.
Taste amazing! Got the banana and chocolate caramel. He put too much powder in the first chocolate caramel but stopped us and fixed it before we even noticed! Very friendly and helpful. Will happily buy again!
Went to the Ball State University planetarium and saw a star show. It's a truly impressive facility and the shoes are free to the public. A great educational and entertaining resource for everyone including children. We'll definitely be back soon!
