Canal Park Lodge - Hotel in Duluth - 250 Canal Park Dr, USA

We had a wonderful stay. The breakfasts were great and the service at breakfast was outstanding. One of the staff , her name was Kaylee was exceptional. Can’t say enough good things about Kaylee. Later we found out that her mom and her sister Natalie also worked there. What wonderful ambassadors to represent the hotel. Because of them, we will probably come back here and stay again. They made our stay even better.

Absolutely lovely! Location is perfect - right on the lake walk and perfect for canal park on foot or Duluth by car. The lodge is tastefully done plus has a warm, welcoming vibe. With comfy beds and a nice pool/hot tub area, our stay was very restful yet fun. An outdoor fire pit was another bonus. I was surprised at the quality of the included breakfast - better than most prior experiences. The only thing I could think to improve would be to have more vanity space in the bathroom. Thanks to the wonderful lodge staff who were overall exceptional.

We stayed in 235 from 6/27-6/30/24. The people above us sounded like elephants at all hours of the day and night. Clean room, comfortable beds. Staff was nice. Breakfast was awesome! Next time I'll ask for a room on the top floor but I think families with kids should stick to the first floor! Microwave had crumbs in it, not clean at all.

I stayed in five different hotels in five different towns in Minnesota on vacation, and this was the nicest. There is a nice paved walking trail right out the back door which gives easy access to restaurants and other things in the tourist area of Duluth. Clean. Nice roomy place to sit in the lobby. Good free breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful hotel and a wonderful location. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was good. I loved that they had pancakes instead of waffles. It's right on the lake and the sun and moon rises are amazing. The fire pit outside was great.

My mom came in from out of town for my son's second birthday. She was adamant about swimming with my son, so she chose this place for the view and the indoor pool. Both of which were great. Indoor pool temp was a bit low but still enjoyable. The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast in the AM was included and scrumptious. The price was cheaper than some hotels of less reputation, they let us extend reservation at same price. We had to switch rooms, but they allowed us an early check-in, so we didn't have to wait for one to become available. On the second night, my stepfather had an emergency and had to be rushed to the ER. Staff were super helpful in keeping my mom calm assuring them everything was going to be okay. Getting the ambulance and the first responders to the right place. Above and beyond. My mom was so thrilled she will always stay here (which is a big thing for a bargain hunter). Location could not be beat so easy to get to and get out of. Close to all the cool things in canal Park and central to everything you can do in the twin ports.

We visit the lakewalk often. This was our first stay here on the Lake Superior lakefront and this place and location were wonderful! Situated down the walk from the canal, it’s more peaceful here, and there is ample spots outdoors to enjoy the lakefront at night (fire pit too) day and even breakfast. |The hotel is decorated with leather rustic and nice interior (smells new!) and has ample space to gather and be, inside and out.|We had a Lakeview room and it was worth it, despite no balcony.|It’s a short hop to the lakewalk and walk to the canal and bridge to your right, or walk down towards Fitgers and Leif Erickson park to your left. |Breakfast was plenty and what a delight to not only have real silverware and plates, but you had a person serving the eggs and mornin sausage to each person. |Great place. Would definitely come back and stay here.

Nice hotel, great location. Just a few minutes walk to the lift bridge. Rooms were nice, although a little small. Breakfast was great. You can walk right out the back door to Lake Superior. The indoor pool and hot tub were very nice. Will stay here again.
