We had an excellent stay at the Campus Inn. The owners were very friendly and helpful. It's in a great location and the room was very clean. The wifi is a little tricky but once we figured it out it was a perfect stay. Definitely looking to stay here again on our next visit to Purdue University & Wolf Park.
I've been coming to this place since it was the Travelodge back the early 90s. Love it! Every time it's great.
Stayed here for quick trip to help my son pack out of school. Was traveling by myself and I'm pretty low need for hotel amenities. I won't stay here again. Room smelled nasty (mold & mildew). While the location is great, this place is not good.
This place is fine . Clean , hot water, Wi-fi comfortable beds, REALLY good fan/AC/heater. Quiet - did not hear neighbor’s doors shutting or other noises. Location is awesome. 11 min walk from Memorial Union. Didn’t need to rent a car for the football weekend. Like ALL lodging big price increase for football weekends- not news there. Yes outside could use a little work - but rooms themselves are somewhat updated and very safe. Would stay here again for sure !
Right around midnight, while I was in bed with the TV on, a belligerent (and possibly drunk) desk employee (calling himself the "owner") came pounding on my door screaming nonsense about no guests and how he was calling the cops on me. I was alone. Had no visitors at any point. The TV was on volume level 8. Even after seeing I obviously had no visitors and wasn't making noise, he still kept yelling and rambling about calling the cops. Dude smelled like booze and BO (or maybe bad cologne). He actually did call the cops. They told me to have a good night, then stayed and talked to him for a while longer. Nothing else from him after that. A few days later, I noticed an extra $65 charge on my card from the hotel that I had to dispute with the credit card company. So, you get some interesting live theatre if you stay here and are seemingly randomly chosen to be part of it. Edit: I stayed here and wrote this review several years ago and am unsure why the date listed isn't correct, but it was this location (Purdue). Maybe (hopefully) they're under new management by now, as the reply below might suggest.
Clean rooms, right in the center of West Lafayette restaurants, strong hot showers, good beds, for the price it couldn't be beat! Very clean with no smells, heater worked well, quiet, in-room coffee & refrigerator. Proprietor can't find employees, so he & family are doing EVERYTHING, so be patient and try to be nice. No breakfast offered now, but there are lots of options in the area and a Target a block away if you want to make your own.
Nothing fancy but works great if you're just looking to get a good night's sleep and a hot shower. The campus and downtown Lafayette is all within a quick walk. They are short staff so no breakfast but there is a McDonald's right across the street with six ordering kiosk, fast service even when busy.
A busy parent's weekend stay near campus and the Campus Inn met our expectations. If you are expecting a 4 or 5 star for this price, near campus, find another place. We enjoyed the location, the parking, ice machine, the mini fridge, and A/C were in good working order. Our only complaint were the pillows. The pillows are VERY thin. We flew in, so could not bring our own. If you are driving, bring your own. We asked for 2 extra pillows at the front desk since there were 2 people in our room. They could only accommodate one extra pillow. The Starbucks is a close walk, along with a few other restaurants.
Just finished training here for the summer. Huge thanks first and foremost to coaches Spencer and JV for helping me all summer. I came into Impact Zone looking for a program to get me bigger and stronger in preparation for my first college soccer sea
If youâre looking to level up your fitness routine- you MUST try Pure Barre! I was an avid runner for years but never did any strength or cross training. After seeing an ad, I decided to try to Pure Barre and instantly fell in love! My body was cha
My husband and I have been coming here for a little while. We have made amazing friends and relationships with the staff. They are educated and positive in interaction. I would recommend 10/10!
I attended the 3 day conference there with teens from our church. I was very blessed to see how they explained to them the gifts of the Holy spirit. And the anointing that was present in the place. The love and care of the staff for these kids is ju
It's such an amazing thing to have a Frank Lloyd Wright house in my neighborhood. And I should have visited it a long time ago! The visit was as good as I thought it would be. The tour guide was great with a lot of fun facts and tidbits about the pla
I work nearby and come here almost every day. The drip coffee and espresso drinks are great. High quality all around. Pastries are very good too. They offer a nice selection and itâs not all covered in a layer of sugar. The staff are wonderful, fri
