We were a family of four, staying in the tent cabins. It was very ventilated, clean and roomy. We fit two twin air mattresses and a crib. Overall, a clean camp ground. The shower rooms have hot water and plenty of space to keep your toiletries dry while you shower.
Beautiful and quiet campground. Staff is very friendly, bathrooms are nice, each campsite has its own little washstand (sink and shower). I saw several turtles right in front of my campsite! I came alone and felt very safe. I would come again.
My husband and I had a wonderful time there. Would definitely camp there again.
We have our family reunion there in December 2012 till January 2013. It is by far the best you can have out of the 3 campsite that I review. The beach is quiet and the ocean view is magnificent. Great grand kids have fun playing with the sand. The lodge is big enough for 20-30 people gathering. Libby the chef took good care of our meals. We shall come back another time
We tented here for 2 nights and wished we could stay longer. It's the best tenting experience we have had on the island. The place is quiet and showers is cold water and have doors. There is a sink for every site which is convenient. bathroom is a yurt and is clean and modern. There is a gate with a code so make sure you get the code prior to checking in. I find email communication more effective than phone calls...also be prepared the whole reservation process could take a few days since there's no automatic booking system.
We camped here for 10 days and had a good time. The staff were friendly and helpful, they even let us sleep indoors when the wind got too strong to safely stay in the tent.
BUT considering the price of 30$ per night, the facilities need some urgent overhauling. I added some pics to illustrate. There's at least one broken thing in each and every one of the outdoor showers. Also, upon reserving they force you to give them the credit card info on the phone and then write it down, which is a security risk. I would have hoped for an online payment system, after all it’s 2023, not 1983.
I camped here for 4 nights, this camp has beautiful views and access to the beach. Gate has a code, so it is very safe to stay here. No privacy and no hot water in the outdoor showers, clean bathroom. Staff is very friendly. I recommend this place.
My family and I stayed there after my husband and I got married. The dorms, small apartment and camping facilities are great. We loved snorkeling and watching the turtles. Just down the beach is where the show Lost was filmed.
Beautiful beach! We went on a winter day just to waste time before airport, lots of surfers were out, there was a monk seal just right there in front of us (we didn't get close, and later learned from a sign at a nearby beach that they're endangered,
I loved horseback riding here and the workers were so laid back and friendly! Would definitely come again for a beach ride in the most beautiful place. I love the horses too, esp Ike (:
Beautiful park with nice shade trees. The water was clear in the early morning and seeing the turtles was easy. Nice shallow water/small waves for little kids. Beautiful snorkeling opportunities. Right next to a playground and bathrooms. Showers were
I love lost, came out to see it and because this beach is so remote and not many tourists come here I would probably come out here again for a beach day. The water was warmer then at the Disney resort and the landscape was much more stunning.
