Camp Kimble, Oldmans Creek Preserve - Hiking area in Swedesboro - 21 Main St, USA

Great little location. Easy enough for most family members, but challenging enough to make it interesting. Good way to spend a beautiful weather day. During better weather, suggest arriving early in the day as parking is limited.

First time I came here was during a class field trip in spring. Second time I came with a friend and hiked the 2ish miles of trails. Fun time learning about the preserve's history. Lots of cool native plants and trees I was unfamiliar with. There are some species or common name labels around and I enjoyed using Seek and iNaturalist here. There's also a nice kayak launch I want to explore sometime. Saw a bunch of people occupying the dock and swimming in the creek this afternoon. Looked like a great way to escape the summer heat and humidity.

We came on a very wet day, and a lot of the trails were soggy, some of them were under water. But, there were plenty of plank bridges to walk across the wet spots. The trails seemed nicely maintained, and are well marked. The maps available at the kiosks aren't exactly accurate for the outer lying trails, but the area is too small to get lost. You could probably walk every trail in under 2 hours. Impressive elevation changes for south jersey. Great area for beginner hikers, and families(There's not a lot of hard pack, so i wouldn't recommend strollers). Overall, this is a really gorgeous area of fantastic little nature trails.

Small local nature preserve. Mostly flat, unpaved trails with some light hills. No restroom facilities, but there is a kayak/canoe dock as well as a fire pit circle. Very clean and beautiful! Some trails can get a bit overgrown. Great local spot!

The trails are well maintained and easy for children to follow. There are maps available by the main sign out front and also inside the office. There is a dock for small boats i.e. canoes or kayaks. It is very peaceful and beautiful. We will definitely be back to explore again!

Great for small and big kids alike for a quick hike 30-40 min depending on pace. Slippery with leaves when wet. Very woodsy feel and quiet. Maintained areas.

What a lovely surprise. We were in town with a few hours to spare and found this beautiful gem of a park. Beautifully maintained, clearly marked paths and surrounded by nature... Very peaceful, plenty of birds and interesting plants and trees. Map provided at entrance... Sweet spot. Will make this a regular stop every chance we get.

Very Quiet Trails was just me and my pup on the trails noce little dock for kayaks or canoes but the access is a steep trail leading to the water.
