5s across the board! This place is stunning. I had the best breakfast of my life here, their gravy puts all others to shame. Food was amazing, tons of friendly staff and servers and the atmosphere and aesthetic inside and outside is beautiful. After you eat, there is practically a museum worth of history around the property outside and there is tons of nature and wildlife in the creek. A must stop!
Yesterdays visit to Camp 18 solidified it as one of my all time favorite hidden gems.
It was the first time I was able to visit during Christmas season and enjoy the lovely decorations.
As always, we were quickly seated and served. I enjoy the clam chowder (add a bread bowl if you’re extra hungry or just love bread!) and sharing my husbands chilli burger and onion rings. They are Al fabulous.
And the giant Cinnamon roll with a cup of coffee by the fireplace topped it all off as a perfect afternoon.
Come for breakfast anytime before 2 PM or lunch/dinner after 11 AM.
Family friendly or perfect for a date.
Unique restaurant within a beautiful log cabin. Large fireplace with seating while you wait. There's a bar upstairs, and downstairs is a banquet hall you can rent out. Stream behind restaurant was relaxing. Friendly service and a gift shop next door to look at while you wait. Got the homemade clam chowder in bread bowl. Son got the stack of flat cars (pancakes), and hubby got the biscuits and gravy.
We really enjoyed our lunch at Camp 18 today. There was no wait to get a table and the atmosphere was very nice and relaxing. The server was awesome, and the food was really good. The prices were a bit high, but considering where they are located, it was reasonable. The portions were really big too, so that was nice. The building and decor were amazing and a real step back in time. It was like having lunch inside a museum! The gift shop was cute, but pricey. There are a lot of cool old logging and railroad equipment on display outside, which provided for a nice after lunch stroll. We really recommend this place as a nice meal destination.
After getting together with my best friend for our 45th consecutive New Year’s day. This year at Saddle Mountain, we decided on lunch at Camp 18. Excellent meal and a playful server, we had a great time. The atmosphere is very unique and inviting. If the opportunity comes around will definitely go here again.
Camp 18 is always a great dining experience. The atmosphere is wonderful, the service spot on, and the food is great. I loved sitting by the big fireplace on a stormy day.
If you've driven to Cannon Beach from Portland Oregon, you've driven past this restaurant. You can't miss it. It's a big wooden lodge with massive mining equipment in the parking lot.
Primarily known for their breakfast, Camp 18 serves lunch and dinner as well. On this visit, I had the Lumber Jack Burger and it was huge! So delicious and the fries were crispy and hot.
The restaurant is exquisitely decorated in November and December for Christmas and is a great time to go. It is the off season so service was a little slow. I would recommend calling ahead if you have a dining party of 4 or more. But other than that I would recommend a trip to Camp 18.
The club and BLT were pretty good. I prefer higher quality bread but the bacon was thick and tasty. Nice for after a long hike. The fries and especially the cinnamon roll were incredible. I generally go for a cinnamon roll with a tighter roll and assumed this one would be bready but no. It was so gooey and delicious. I was dreading the size of it but now I am glad to have more for later. I see now why it’s alway so busy whenever I drive by.
It's a long, windy, and narrow road into the day use area, but it's definitely worth it. The coastline is beautiful. The parking was busy when we arrived, and there was a sign saying it was full when there were actually maybe 10 spaces still availabl
this place is absolutely beautiful & so cute. i love that their flower is local & home grown & their display is TOP notch. Kory was our budtender, he was very nice & helpful !! would definitely recommend if youâre in the area !
June is a great time of year because of all the wildflowers, but parking isn't great (so get there early!) 80% of the hike is relatively easy... but it's that other 20% that reminds you this IS a mountain after all. Don't let that deter you though! J
Love this store. She carries great local jams, syrups, nuts, wines, chocolates and other yummy things. She has a wonderful selection of Dean Crouser art things. Coasters, wall art, stickers & more.
The gentleman there was very helpful and informative. I loved the calm atmosphere with a hint of excitement. Talk about memories. Better than a Blockbuster. Took my son to experience and learn a little something about real movies. I see a new traditi
