Big fan of this place. Fishers come here, and the path around the pond is paved. It's a mostly clean and well maintained park. I walk the dog here at least once a week in the morning walks. Recommend for nice short walks. I realize my dog is in the picture, but you can see the park too.
Only open during the summer- why??? We stopped there on the way back into Baltimore from a road trip because the traffic in DC was so bad but didn’t realize that most of what the park has to offer is seasonal. At least there was some space for our toddler to play in the dirt.
Cameron Run Regional Park is a nice place to cool off, my family and I enjoyed the wave pool, splash area and slides. There is free parking available, they also have picnic area outside of the park if you bring your own food. There is a batting cage area and a mini golf area available for play. Food is also available inside park. I really liked it. Nice spot!!!!!!
The wave pool is not working right now we went on 6/11 . They will not tell you at the front . We only came for that. The water slides were ok. You can’t wear a swimming cap on them so be aware. The food truck was GREAT 👍🏽!!. Staff was great overall.
Amazing light show, thank you to the team..
This was an amazing event! Honestly it’s really only worth it if you go ice skating. The lights it’s self takes maybe 10 min to walk through we walked through them twice. Tons of photo opportunities. There’s a shop for kids to get light up toys as well. The skating was a ton of fun especially at night around the lights. Tickets include skate rentals. It is real ice. Was not crowded at all when we went. If you’re not good at skating no problem they have little walkers to push around and little kids can sit and ride them. Staff is very friendly and they watch over the ice for people who fall. I brought my 6 and 9 year old we had a great time
Cameron Run is a fun and affordable place to play for the whole family. The wave pool is well-manned. The assorted slides engage kids of all ages. They offer burgers, fries, sodas, chicken tenders, and funnel cakes! Normally, it's safe and engaging, but there have been some bee stings, a couple of upset stomachs, and oh yeah, a girl sliced her foot open by the water slide. I wasn't impressed with the way they were handling the girl's injury. I'm a camp counselor, a teacher, an uncle, and most importantly, a father. I like the place but I'm not in love with the place. I would like to see Cameron do better so I can feel better about taking my family there.
Went here for fishing trout (lake is stocked regularly in winter) but found the water very dirty and place packed with fishermen. It was not worth the drive, but nevertheless good place to go for a walk if you live nearby.

Low planes fly by, trains go byâ¦awesome for kids! Wheelchair Accessible play areas. Street parking, gated play areas, port-a-potty (large and small). Splash pads in summer. Swings for mommy and baby! Kids liked the maze area a lot!

Even on an overcast day this was a beautiful area. Wonderful walking paths with plentiful benches to take a break or just soak in the beauty. This is truly a gem in the city. Highly recommended if in the area and have some time to relax.
This park is super close from where I leave. I go there for walks almost everyday. It's well managed and clean. The walking trail has got trees on either side which is great during summer heat. If you are lucky enough, you might even see deer grazing

I only went to the playground. Which was nice to be a small neighborhood park. Everything was clean and well well kept. There is not a lot of shade at the actual playground area. I have a toddler who is 3 and everything was so hot she couldn't enjoy
We love putting in our kayaks here and enjoying the river. Wish you had a proper launch however. Parking is easy. This gem of a park has a lot to offer. Explore the trails by foot or by bike.
When the Civil War started and the Union took Alexandria many escaped slaves, called Contraband, poured into the city to escape their former masters. This overcrowding caused a high mortality rate. The soldiers seized a undeveloped plot of land and
