I’ve lived at Camden for almost 3 years, and I’m very pleased with the beauty, security, and excellent maintenance at these apartments. Management is responsive and the property is lovely. There are two great pools, a fitness center and duckpond. The foliage and maintenance of it are excellent. I will stay as long as I can afford it. It’s very comfortable.!!

I have lived here for quite a few years. Camden has gone from 5 stars to 2 stars maybe even 1. So much police activity, car break-ins, late night suspicious activity, parking sucks, they don’t enforce the parking policy, so many car without stickers taking up spots, my apartment is falling apart something is always breaking, no upgrades, kids playing in the fitness on the equipment with an adult present, pool was nasty most of the summer. I can go on and on, not worth the money. Went from a nice, quiet place to live to a I can’t wait until my lease is up place, so I can move. The quality of Camden Buckingham has decreased significantly while the rent is rising fast.

Been here since October, light bill is $280 (un-heard of in an apartment). Maintenence have been here several times to add weather stripping that doesn't work. Light still coming through my front door (so my heat is going out). I've bought curtains for 2 windows to keep out the cold (weather strips placed there too, but window area still very cold) 12/21 Liz, property management, came to my apartment and advise maintenance to fix it permanently by replacing the main strip. I'm thankful she took the time to have it fixed.

1st month review- Please Read my Review if you’re signing the lease in this apartment. Most recently moved in here. This is worst place I have lived ever, Specifically building 2 as i live in one of those apartment. These are very very old building you may get better and new apartment in this price. Me and my family is not able to sleep ever since we moved in this apartment last month.. if someone walk’s upstairs we hear terrible bad sound and it seems like someone is beating drum on our head. We complained many times to the management qa but they never helped.. As I said above they’re very old apartments and believe me they come every other day for maintenance in my apartment for several issues. We need to move our stuff every day. In my apartment we have ants all over coming from outside we complained about this but no help from management. So please don’t come in the trap of reviews on google. I really wants to save your money and peace of mind as well. Don’t trust video appointments for touring your future home make sure you go in person to see your place. I’ll posting another review if things get better.

I was a previous resident at this apartment. And when moving out ensured all my personal information was removed from the lease. My ex partner is in the process of ending their lease and I noticed on his documentation when helping him clear out that my ssn and birthday is still attached to his lease. Called the apartment complex and its like my calls are being screened. I've been listening to their hold message FOR AN HOUR! This is not high quality professionalism. This issue is still on going as long as this post is still available. Do better Camden Buckingham

If you live in building 3 and Moved in Dec 2022 and have these issues, please know that this has been ongoing. When we lived in this complex, we initially loved it. People had lived there for long periods of time…. Some folks, even decades. However, as time passed, we started noticing the quality went down as the rent increased. I have attached photos of the unit. Ones where maintenance told me “it was just dirt” or “it must be an old leak.” The photo of the vent was in the master bedroom. They told me that that was because we weren’t changing the filters. If you look closely, there is no dirt on the actual vent, and the black stuff (I believe was mold they call it dirt) was the worst around where that vent cover was… not on the actual vent. The photo of the spot was above the bathtub. When I reported this in the middle of our last lease before we moved out, they just painted over the leak. They didn’t check anything. Didn’t replace plaster. Didn’t even touch the spot to see if it felt wet. Instead they chose to paint over it. It came back close to when we left and the drywall was actually puckering. I am not sure if I got a photo but if so I will add it. Unfortunately I can’t find the pictures but there was also an incident where our upstairs neighbors had water come into their unit. No one came to check our unit because “of COVID” so instead, it took me realizing water stains all around the bedroom window and reporting it for them to…. Wait for it…. Just paint over it. When I questioned them, they did scrape some plaster off and then paint over that. Additionally, there were gaps in the windows. The windows are old and not replaced. When I put in maintenance request for this issue, their solution was to add foam. Water came in. It caused damage to the window frame and baseboards underneath. We reported this early on. 3.5 years later, I would guess that they didn’t change it even after we moved out. You can see in the attached photos the gap that was in the dining room that allowed snow and water inside. I’ll try to find more pictures to show the window issues hidden behind the part of the frame replaced during our time there. But my personal favorite incident while living here was the big freeze. Winter storm Uri caused a pipe to burst across the hall. Our entire building was without water for almost a week (pretty sure 5 days). As a solution, they were “kind” enough to leave the gym bathrooms open. Several buildings had to walk to the leasing office to use the restroom. Solid ice everywhere. One of the times I slipped. I put in a work order to warn about the conditions and asking for them to do something to shovel a path from the buildings with no water to the leasing office. Nothing was done. Shortly after I slipped on the ice with my baby and dropped her. My husband was out of town, and I was stuck. Walking to the office to use the restroom or melting snow to flush my toilet. Beware. You can see pictures below from the “path” to the leasing office. All covered in snow. Taken on my hikes to pee or get water. And the pools… don’t count on those to be open. There were multiple times where people brought glass into the pool area or chemicals were off, and the pools had to be closed. There were times where the chemicals clearly were not balanced and they had a funky smell or were cloudy or green. I’ll try to find pictures to add later. A lot of those long standing tenants are starting to consider other options. For what you pay for internet and cable and valet trash, compared to what we actually received… not worth it. People were regularly posting about issues with people stealing things from their cars. Parking is a nightmare. We often had to park near visitor parking to walk to building 3. Don’t be fooled by the beauty of the front office.

Lived there a while back Once they switched to hardwoods you hear everything the people above you are doing. The front office is not going to help. They barely care. You are just a number and a rent check. I now live in the Berkshire Preserve. Google it. Yeah, muuuch better. This place is a nightmare. My firend who still lives there is having same problem, constant noise from above and front office wont do squat and is rude. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Trust me. Check out Berkshire. The Preserve is awesome! Edit: I told the front office a few weeks ago we were the wrong people to mess with. Lets see of they still have their jobs in a week from now. Good luck!

I am loving this place. Currently a resedent for two months. Move in process was easy. Staff is always friendly and ready to help. Maintenance can be requested and tracked online. Grounds are kept clean. Complex has two duck ponds with catch and release fishing allowed. Gym is always open. The grills at the pools are real grills, not the janky park rot iron ones. The management makes it a point to make you feel like you're in a real community. There is always pizza, games, tacos, something happening on Fridays that the staff invites residents in for. I feel safe here. Ample parking. Additional on site garages/ storage available if you choose to purchase. I definitely feel like I'm getting what I'm paying for here. It was a bit of an adjustment for me with the prices, but so far has been worth it.
