Lots of interactive exhibits for all ages. I learn something new every visit! From the back aquarium there is an excellent view of the river and of Philadelphia’s skyline.
Wonderful place to go. They are always renovating for a new attraction or exhibit so you know something g different is to come. The walk above the shark tank was my absolute favorite part.... next to the baby loggerhead turtle feeding.
If you go here, go when it's not busy (to help with parking) or take the train in. We rode in from Cinnaminson and it was worth it. This aquarium is a bright spot in an otherwise bad town. Definitely must see.
I think it's really awesome that there's an Aquarium close to home. It's been years since I have been here or any Aquarium so I have been dying to go. That being said, as cool as it is, you really can get through the whole park in a hour and definitely under two hours. It's not the big, and there's not many attractions here. I can't speak for the staff or food, but I know everything is going to be overpriced like it is at any place you go to. The price of the tickets are a little much for something so small. That doesn't include parking. You only get discounts on the gift shop and food if you have a membership, but I wouldn't think this place is even worth having a membership to because of how small it is. I still enjoyed my stay, but this place is a once in every 7+ years I would say. I'm like a kid, I'm easily amused, but I was expecting more oomph to it.
Listed as a ticket range starting at $27…. Not a single day is $27. Most days are $40-$50 and I promise you the aquarium is not worth the price. It’s small, bathrooms are dirty, parking is sketchy… you spend an hour there max and they start charging tickets prices at the age of 2. Go to the Baltimore aquarium. Same price, 5x the size, large cafeteria, & anyone 4 and under is free.
My family & I have season passes so we go as often as we can. We always have an amazing time & the fact the animals are always doing something different makes it unique every time. Our 3 year old son absolutely loves the sharks, sea turtles, & hippos. He could stay for hours just watching them swim around!
Adventure Aquarium has a beautiful exhibit of aquatic life. They seem to be constantly improving the space to make it more interesting for their guests. Depending on the time you go, you may see face painting for the kids or snow falling from the high ceilings while the mascots dance.
FYI- the hippos "Genny & Buttons" get their feedings at certain times throughout the day. It's fascinating to see them eat their favorite foods; bok Choy being one of them!
Because of the large amounts people frequenting the aquarium in the warmer months, the parking lots can become quite chaotic. Stay calm, circle around and you will find a space... it's worth the wait!
They change the way they sell their tickets and it’s just not worth it to visit. Oh, and their stroller policy is terrible for us moms who visit with multiple children by ourselves.
Before heading into the aquarium, we stopped by Bainâs Deli for lunch and they did not disappoint! The gentleman behind the counter knows flavors and makes everyone feel so welcome like a long time friend!! We had the cheesesteak, chicken bacon ra
One of those places you find that are absolutely authentic. The food is what you come for the family atmosphere is why you come back. I stumbled on this place and it should be featured on hidden gems or something like it. Big fan of bbq, so I can be
Beautiful venue. Parking right across the street from the park. Beautiful views of Delaware and Philadelphia behind the stage. Bring a chair and enjoy a concert.
Visiting the part to get a nice view of the skyline and it didnât disappoint me at all! Amazing park with loads of benches to sit and ogle at the skyline. I wish the ferry service was still on during winters but overall itâs a must visit place.
