Our trip to Cambria was perfect. The Cambria Pines lodge was comfortable with many amenities. ||We enjoyed the fireplaces in our King suite, the separate sitting area, a huge spa tub in the bathroom, coffee in the morning, ||Separate dinks in the bathroom and a roomy shower! The grounds are beautiful! There is entertainment each night and ||Dinner was delicious! We recommend it highly.

I took my husband for a birthday getaway. We had a lovely time. The property is beautiful. The rooms are clean. We ate in the dining room and listened to music afterwards. The breakfast buffet was great and included. We definitely recommend Cambria Pines Lodge.

Rooms are nice and nightly entertainment was great. The grounds are well manicured and its a short drive to town. The heated pool and jaccuzi were pleasand and open until 10:00. We dined at the restaurant the first night and the food was delicious and the service excellent.

The property is very nice and well kept. However the staff is lacking in their customer service. They know they are the most desirable lodge in the area due to the Christmas Market being on their property. So they will not give you any personalized attention like a 12 noon check out on a Monday... This was disappointing to me because I needed to work remotely until my lunch break.

It's a nice location along the coast, Hearst Castle is just 10 min away. The rooms were clean, not fancy (motel style) but the check in and out was easy. It's family friendly, which is great, though you can hear kids bumping around and running. Not late enough to cause any problems, but not super quiet either. Breakfast was pretty standard, and staff was helpful and friendly and quick-though there were tip jars spread through the buffet which was off-putting. All in all, not bad but like all places along the coast, a little pricey for what you're getting. The food in the restaurant that evening was pretty good, it was very busy but the staff was very quick and did a great job.

Sprawling property with garden areas. Lounge with bar and occasional live music. Some of the staff members were friendlier than others. Simple breakfast included with stay. Christmas lights in the garden were nice. Price was too high for a weeknight between Christmas and New Year's Day (double what it was for a few days later). Some first floor rooms have entryways that are a tripping hazard.

This place is so charming! Lovely gardens, quiet rooms. It's comfortable and close to downtown shops a d beaches on hwy 1. Close to Hearst Castle . I drove and it's about 15 or 20 minutes away. The restaurant in the hotel is nice and has good food. Great service. The bar in the hotel has live music and most people I met were friendly and upbeat.

Have visited many times with good experience. This time, enjoyed the Christmas lights. We had paid for a room with fireplace as previously this was a electric fireplace. This time it was probably a older room with wood burning fireplace and old wall heater. We would need to go get a presto log from the check in desk as one was not in the room. We requested a different room which they provided with electric fireplace. It also had a mini split heater which took a bit to figure out how to use the remote but it did work.If you enjoy coffee they now provide a pot to boil water and coffee bags that work like tea bags but taste was very disappointing. Breakfast which comes with the room was okay, used to be better. Overall, a bit disappointing but would stay again.

A quick getaway during the off-season, which made the prices more attractive. To be right across the street feom Moonstone Beach was a treat, and the lean, quiet atmosphere was just what we needed. Even the light rain made the walk on the nearby boa
