It was a five-star experience UNTIL I encountered the server at the bar today (09/02/2024). Everyone from valet to front desk, the bartender last night, and even housekeeping was polite and friendly. The other guests we encountered were polite and friendly as well. No complaints with the room. It was clean and the location of the hotel was perfect. You are close enough to walk to anything you want to do, but far enough that you're not directly in the mix, so it's quiet. Dennis was awesome from check-in to checkout. The bar tender the prior night was so wonderful that I went down to get coffee the next morning. Upon sitting down and declining a menu (I knew what I wanted), he pointed to the corner and stated the free coffee was over there as he walked off. He didn't even allow me to state my order. Upon him returning, I inquired if Expresso or cappuccino was unavailable, to which he stated it was available. I told him that's what I had initially desired, but I left because I refused to be served by someone who obviously didn't want the business. There was no reason for him to be rude or dismissive of me as a customer. Despite the 18% service charge, we tipped! We tipped others as well for their service. He was the only negative experience at the hotel.

This is our go to hotel when we visit New Orleans. As soon as we pull up we are greeted by the best valet team (Josh, Dennis and Willow). They are always so nice and helpful! We also love the front desk staff (Sharon, Kieana and James) they always go above and beyond!! Along with great staff the rooms are very comfortable! We love this hotel!!

This hotel is amazing! They let us have an amazing karaoke party in the lobby! The staff were super nice, and I felt cared for. Conditions were comfortable and the housekeeping made our beds everyday. It was also super helpful to have a washing machine and dryer. Definitely recommend!

This hotel was great! Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of downtown but easily accessible to both Canal and Bourbon Street. The art and decor throughout the hotel, is a reflection of the Big Easy! Also have several photo opportunities around the property. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and welcoming (shout out to James and Daymond)! The suite was very spacious and clean. During my visit, a compressor went out and affect the temperature in my room as well as a few other rooms. After speaking with the General Manager John, he apologized,this was a matter that was out of his control but he did remedy my concerns. Overall, I would stay again on my next visit to New Orleans.

We stayed at the Cambria twice this summer, both for fun. Each time, as we entered our room, the cool air hit us. As someone who is always hot, this was a wonderful change from the New Orleans heat and humidity! The rooms are nice. I enjoyed the way that the curtains, wallpaper, and shower curtain all shared a similar design. The entire hotel is pleasingly decorated and ties in with the jazz and possibly scary history of the big easy. We did not eat at the hotel, so I cannot comment on the meals. I can say that each and every staff member that we spoke to was professional and helpful. We will definitely be going back!

Very pleasantly surprised with how clean and affordable this hotel was. The whole staff was nice - front desk, bar, and housekeeping. Rooms, including bathrooms, are spacious and comfortable. Excellent location in the CBD and walking distance to French Quarter. Bar/restaurant downstairs is very convenient, especially if you arrive late. Would recommend for couples, families, and groups.

This has to be one of the best 3-star hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. My group and I were here for a nationwide youth event with 28 people in total in our group. Not only were they able to house us all but they were also able to accommodate our request to adjust the list of people who were rooming together. I think it’s no small feat to accommodate 20 teenagers and 8 adults. For a couple of nights, Nolan, the manager, had even set up a karaoke room for the youth. It was totally above and beyond what we would expect. Sharon, one of the staff members, was also very helpful and kind to us throughout our duration of the stay. Overall, I cannot recommend Cambria Hotel enough. It is worth the price for the amazing service and comfortable rooms that you get here.

The staff was incredible, very friendly and accommodating and rooms were very clean! This is the only good thing I have to say about this hotel! The parking fees were outrageous, $380.00 for 5 nights! The only Choice Hotel we've ever stayed at without free coffee! They have a lame one cup coffee pot in the room and no microwave in the room. Prices were over the top! $3.25 for an 8oz cup of coffee and $40.00 for 2 people for breakfast! Scrambled eggs, toast and bacon! The smell of weed was everywhere inside and outside of the hotel! It was so strong, it was sickening! But you can't smoke cigarettes in your room yet they were all smoking weed in the rooms on our floor! Would never stay here again!
