Cambria Hotel Columbia Downtown the Vista - Hotel in Columbia - 1000 Lady St, USA

This is our first time staying here. Super convenient to the Vista and downtown. Very clean, spacious for not large rooms. Great bathroom and counter size. The bed is super comfortable. The lobby bar is fairly large and serves dinner. Edwin the bartender is AMAZING. Such a great personality and makes the best drinks including creating his own. The staff in the hotel has been friendly, professional and very helpful. Definitely would stay here again.

This was our first time staying at an Cambria Hotel and if all of them are like this then this would most definitely not be our last time. The staff starting with the two valet guys were extremely respectful and helpful. Not let me just say this. Don't be fooled about the other reviews about parking. The parking is the same whether you pay for valet or not but here's the best part. We didn't pay for valet but was told if we came back and didn't find a spot we can valet for no additional charge which was amazing to know. Yes the parking was limited but to know if there wasn't a spot we can valet if we needed for no additional charge was great. You walk in and was immediately greeted by the front desk. A little bit towards the left when you walk in was a nice size bar and if you keep going down was the restaurant. We didn't check out either since we were just there for the night to do a quick surprise family visit. The rooms were really nice and would recommend wait.. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. The coffee maker was a bit tricky but we were able to get it to work. Next time I would get a video detailed review and yes it would most definitely be a next time.

I've stayed at this hotel over 5 times within three past 2 years. **Pros:** The location is perfect, right in the middle of downtown Columbia, within walking distance to many great restaurants. The rooms are cleaned well, and the hotel is overall well-maintained despite a few minor issues like lights not working or doors not sliding. As long as these issues are kept to a minimum, they aren't a big deal. The bar is very nice, and the lounge areas both inside and outside are great for sitting, eating, or having drinks. The hotel also has an exercise room. **Cons:** Parking is $18 per day, which feels steep. I think it should be a one-time fee. Additionally, the fridge in the room is really small, so don't order a lot of food because it won't fit.

This is the best hotel I've stayed at in quite some time. My room was very clean, quiet, and tasteful. The lobby was artsy and hip. The breakfast staff was extremely friendly and gave very good service. The hotel was in a good location close to restaurants & nightlife. I'd read other reviews that mentioned problems with the valet parking, but it worked perfectly for us. If I'm in Columbia again, I'd definitely stay here!

We needed a place centrally located that would accommodate our two dogs - Cambria fit the bill! Very friendly front desk staff, we enjoyed the bar in the evenings and were able to walk just 5 minutes to downtown restaurants and bars (there are actually restaurants/bars right around the corner, but the places we wanted to go were about 5 - 10 minute walk away). The hotel was extremely clean as well and had secure parking. We would stay here again.

In love with this brand and hotel, super legit location I mean you’re Right smack down town a block from the capital , restaurants , boutiques, valet service was quick convenient and friendly. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate my early check in(1 pm) and late check out(1pm) the restaurant / bar and mini market made it super convenient not to have to leave the establishment. The rooms ,super clean comfy bed and pillows , great WiFi and cable. Bathroom was clean great water pressure and the Bluetooth mirror was pretty cool, we had a corner room so great view with the automated sunshades very very cool. Quiet did not hear street traffic or other guests .Will most certainly be staying here anytime I’m in town. Thank you for the experience!

This is my first time staying here and it was amazing. First, the rooms are beautiful and it’s such a good location. Me and my family walked around the city and it looked beautiful! The workers are very kind and friendly. And the food is amazing, the front desk ladies were very kind, and also the hotel is beautiful.

Classy, Refreshing, strategically placed. The Cambria is welcoming from Parking lot attendant/valet to the housekeeping. Local Artist decorated lobby and rooms captures the colorful and creative industry of yesteryear in beautiful downtown Columbia. Knowledgeable Hostess/Front Desk Ana willingly and with care can help refer good area highlights as well as introduce you to in house amenities to take advantage. Clean and stylized rooms with great practical, fashionable and comfortable furniture. Great view of city. Amazing and elegant dining room with nice atmosphere. Francis cordially served us delicious offerings prepared by onsite chef. Shaded Porch Garden patio dining connected to dining room. The place to stay while in Columbia
