Attending a wedding here for the first time and it was a wonderful venue. The grounds were incredible and the location easy to get to with ample parking for guests.
An outdoor garden setting for the wedding, cocktail hours in a different outdoor setting, followed by the reception inside the big red bard. Loved the lighting with rustic, yet simple vibes.
I would love yo attend another event here!
If you love Victorian Homes..... You will love this 1892 Queen Victorian style home. Step inside the home and step back in time for this Christmas style home. I loved it. The ranch is beautiful as well.

Very beautiful location. Kind of a secret place. Unfortunately it's only open for tours on the weekends, not today.☹️.
But still a nice place to take a stroll, walk your dog, or sit on one of the benches and watch the clouds roll by, just sit and read a book... that's what I like to do.
Entry to the grounds is free. There is a charge for the tour (don't know how much).
We've shot a beautiful international wedding here and this venue has everything: the place for getting ready, ceremony, romantic shots and of course the reception.
The ranch was celebrating the birthday of Adolfo Camarillo. The family lived in the house and ran the 10,000 acre ranch. They were well known for their white horses. I toured the house and met a very gentle white horse and owner. Made my day!
Seriously, an amazing venue to have a wedding. We've been here a couple of times and absolutely fell in love with it from the beginning. Whether you have your reception in the barn our outdoors, you can't go wrong. The staff is super friendly and is always there to help you in any way they can as well
This is a lovely historic home. It's not very old (built 1893, which is a few decades after our family home) by many historical ideas but for California, that's pretty old. They clearly updated everything in like 1915-28 teen-thru-twenties period based on the latches and make of the cabinetry but it's a lovely place. Lots of family history remains and that's always what makes a place interesting.
They get a bit nervous with kids and tried talking in code about doing the tour different because we had a 6 year old but this 6yo is super sharp so knew just what they meant. She was fine but still can't get over that the play room for kids was in an attic she couldn't see. But she was thrilled by the doll houses, including one she could play with!
The TREES! You need to see these unique and massive trees. You probably never saw these types and certainly not this variation in one place. It's lovely.
An excellent place to see what early California life was like. Off the crowded tourist track, Camarillo Ranch House was set in a tranquil garden with huge specimen trees including a rare araucaria (umbrella pine) from Brazil. The well informed tours are a bargain at $10 donation to the maintenance of the mansion. Highly recommended! Tip: spend some time before or after tour in the souvenir room for further education.
