What an amazing gem. Beautiful open space with plenty of walking trails. We had visited during the weekend and there were only a few other people there which was surprising. A great location for a picnic or just walking in a beautiful, quiet area. We happen to be there when someone was visiting the garden boxes that are available for people to rent. It was nice to see what other people choose to grow and their progress. Plenty of water fountains throughout.
The open hours of California Nursery Historical Park are from Sunrise to Sunset (today: 5:48 am-8:33 pm) daily. It is a hidden gem in the San Francisco Bay area. It has lots of parking spaces, clean public restrooms, nice gardens, fruit tree orchard, beautiful boxed tree forest, walking trails, and picnic area for family and friends.
Gorgeous open outdoor space with so many beautiful backdrops. Ideal for photoshoots. The rose garden is well maintained and the overall premises appear well managed. Photographer-approved. Family friendly. Dog friendly. Photos show 360 view of the rose garden area and the cacti garden next to it.
A little gem of a park to visit and appreciate roses. It's also a nice place to take photographs. There's plenty of parking space so many can visit and enjoy. Park benches and picnic tables are available for use. Come spend a few hours there and relax.
Beautiful new park in Fremont's Niles district. Nice pathways, plenty of water fountains, parking and a community garden area. Great place to take a stroll and admire some of the areas history.
I love this location! There has been a lot of construction at the nursery over the years but there are still little gems to explore. It has a small rose garden, a little wooden bridge and greenery, and Adobe building and some cactus. There’s tons of little spots for photos. On top of that it’s also generally pretty quiet.
A bit run down. But if you want to see the largest collection of some truly beautiful roses, this is the place. Quiet and easy to get to.
July 23, 2022 was the formal inauguration for this city park. Go explore! July 2, 2022 update: The big park is open, unofficially but it is ready for exploration. There are very promising amenities such as new toilet banks, some historic buildings under restoration, park benches and the new Community garden LEAF facility. Plenty parking is coming to this new park and will be lush with greenery soon. It does look like lots of work is still in progress though, but it is a fun space with lots of potential. The rose garden has matured so beautifully that this park next to it needs lot more plants to compete. Great stop for a brunch gathering or a photo shoot for your family occasion. Great asset to the neighborhood for walkers and joggers. 12.20.2020 update- the park is fenced off for the next few months for city of Fremont capital improvement project aka a new park coming here soon! Beyond excited but need to wait. Shall post updates when I read more on the city’s website. Quaint, quiet retreat for lots of baby and family photoshoots, picnic and a view of the most gorgeous roses. Seasonal colors in fall add additional beauty to this space. Has benches for a family and friends gathering, maintained by a team of dedicated volunteers looking for more hands.

I used to be a regular at another nearby poke spot - but Osumo won me over. Their portions are good, price is better than competitors, fish is super fresh, and they have a good selection of toppings and sauces
Found this place after searching Google for museums in the East Bay. This was close and we haven't been to this one before, so since the kids were on winter break - we checked it out. My youngest said they felt like Indiana Jones and my eldest said i
