We were looking for a quick one night staycation near Disneyland so we decided to give California Inn a shot since the photos showed what a cute boutique motel this place was. I was immediately drawn to the sleek aesthetic of the place and the price was very good! ||The location was perfect as it was close enough to the park and restaurants with just a short car ride away, but still far enough from it so there is easy parking and still able to avoid the crowds and foot traffic. I should also add one of our criteria was that we could leave the park mid-day for a quick shut eye and hop back in the evening, so this was perfect.||Our room was “Under the Sea” inspired and their attention to the modern, yet minimalistic design features made our stay all the most stylish and comfortable. Their attention to detail in the design was impeccable in everything from the themed light fixtures to the logo-branded mugs and trays. The bed was so relaxing with its memory foam topper that it was hard to get out of bed. We also loved the amenities the room provided, including a smart TV with streaming apps, complimentary water bottles with even sparking water options, various snacks including chips and candies, as well as our own mini Keurig machine for coffee. They also provide the cutest Frigidaire mini fridge perfect to keep our snacks chilled and ice packs frozen.||The overall vibes was this place was very charming. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and this motel is definitely a hidden gem for anyone looking for a place to stay near Disneyland or a quick retreat.

Hard to beat on price and location. Even the liquor store out front was really convenient. It is though a hastily refurbished motor lodge. It was clean, the guy that checked us in was very nice and helpful (s/o Mike), but this is the place you want to stay if you are on a capital B budget. With just a little more polish this could be a really stellar place. Rhodes motor lodge in NC comes to mind. There weren't many other guests so we didn't encounter much noise, and with some white noise the street sounds weren't that bad at all. We were also dead tired so that helps. The bed was way harder than expected, but we got some really great sleep nonetheless. They didn't clean our room even though we had set out the door hanger, but across the board no matter where we stay there seems to be issues like that. It says it's a 23 min walk to Disney but it feels even shorter. You really can't beat the convenience. Even the liquor store came in clutch, and it's pretty well stocked. Don't expect glamor, but it's a solid place to stay if you're looking to save money AND feel good about your stay.

The check-in process was smooth and the staff was welcoming and friendly, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It had all the essentials I needed for a comfortable stay, including a cozy bed, a flat-screen TV, and reliable Wi-Fi. The decor was simple but tasteful, contributing to a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel's location is convenient, with easy access to local attractions and amenities. Despite its central location, it was quiet and peaceful, allowing for a restful night's sleep. The complimentary breakfast offered a decent variety of options, providing a good start to the day. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is due to the slightly dated facilities. While everything was functional and clean, a few updates would enhance the overall experience. Additionally, the parking area could benefit from better lighting at night. Overall, California Inn offers great value for money with comfortable accommodations and excellent service. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The California Inn is our go to property next to Disneyland. The entire staff is amazing and accommodating. The rooms are redone beautifully with different themes. The showers are glorious! The style is modern and fresh. We will always come back!

This place was great! We were visiting Disneyland and there were so many options to choose from! We wanted something affordable but nice and comfortable for the family. This spot was it! The rooms were clean, updated/modern. The shower was luxurious and the beds were so comfortable! They provide complimentary snacks, water and coffee. Their mugs were so nice! There outdoor games that the kids loved and a little patio table. And the outdoor lights were beautiful. (Not sure if it’s seasonal as we visited in November, but they were so pretty) Customer service was great! It was only 5 minutes from Disneyland. Would definitely recommend this spot!

Absolutely amazing! Starting from the outside it's a nice (but slightly high traffic area) but it's kind of tucked away. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot I was immediately impressed. Completely remodeled, string lights beautiful wood stairs- it just caught me off guard by how cute it was (I think me arriving at night helped lol). Front desk was very nice, even suggested a great restaurant, and check in was the easiest I have ever experienced. The room was very nice, comfortable bed, very clean, completely updated, and they even had snacks (chips, candy, etc) free of charge waiting in the room. I will definitely be back and would definitely recommend.

Clean and cute hotel, feels so welcoming and the service staff is very helpful and kind. Definitely booking here for my Disneyland trips!! They give free snacks and the tvs come with all the essentials to watch shows and movies. Loved it here and so excited to book again soon.
