California Burrito - Mexican restaurant in Des Moines - 22660 Pacific Hwy S, USA

You know when you have a craving for your favorite food from your favorite place but that place closes early so you go to your favorite places sister and your favorite food just isn't the same? Yeah that. The food is good just completely different flavours than the federal way location and made with a little less love. My crispy BEEF tacos were greasy and I'm like 90% sure it was pork not beef.

As Authentic as it gets! This place was recommended to us by a local and even offered to stop and take us to get it but since they are open 24/7 we decided to get comfy and then make the short walk. I ordered a chimichanga and a carne asada taco, and a breakfast burrito for our trip in the morning. The breakfast burrito was SO good even eating it cold. The chimichanga was so filling and took up 3/4 of my to go container and the taco was so thicc I had to eat some with a fork. It was all so delicious! The service was very quick and all very fresh. The salsa bar was a plus but as always be forewarned even the mild/ medium can be spicy! I think for all of those and a tip I spent a little less than $30. The prices are very reasonable and what you get is very delicious!

This is the best burrito I’ve had in a long time. Cute nice place either way great staff. Good food well worth the trip to get here.

Good flavorful food. Good portions. Lots of add on from the free self-service salsa bar. Food prices are reasonable But drinks prices are way overpriced. Actually I feel their prices for drinks are rip-off, and gouging customers. Especially on hot sunny days They are way too expensive. They are mostly water & sugar & color so why these outrageous 😭 high prices 😮 Clean spacious place Lots of free easy parking.

Ok, the place is not the greatest when it comes to looks. Having said that, THE FOOD IS AMAZING. 100/10, exceeded all my expectations, it is simply DELICIOUS. On top of that, VERY AFFORDABLE, and the serving size is unreal for the price. Most places will charge you twice the money for half the food. This is my wife’s and I second time here in less than 24 hours, food is that good!!! Definitely come have a taste.

Couldn’t help but go again. One of the very few places I will drive from Bremerton to federal way on pacific hey to get good foot at a great price and know I will be full when done.

We had tacos, veggie burrito with cheese, and relent burrito. It was fantastic. Our first time here and they had a line for the drive thru while McDonald's next door was tumbleweeds. We knew this was the place to try. I love that they are 24 hrs and breakfast all day. The burritos were very big. It was a bit of a wait but we'll worth it.

What an excellent burrito shop. Coming from the southwest, I can verify that this restaurant is as good as almost any burrito maker near the border that I've visited. The meats are perfectly cooked. The salsa bar has a great variety that dabbles in sweet, mild, and spicy. The prices are extremely low for what you get. You will be extremely satisfied with your food.
