California Built In Systems takes care of my office security needs, they have always gone above and beyond for me any time I need anything. From adding or removing employees, to assisting with the cameras, or even my sound system in the office. It's nice to have a local, helpful company on your side.

A couple of bad power outages degraded my old alarm system so I called California Built In Systems to see what could be done. Ken Fogg came over and walked the property with me and we discussed solutions. Within a day, he emailed me a complete prospectus with various options. We iterated and within two days I selected the options that I wanted and electronically signed the bid. The parts came in a couple days later and Jake Tarr came over to do the replacement. He was very proficient in his work and took great care with clean up. Ken visited during the install to make sure everything was going smoothly. We identified a couple of problems with some of my legacy equipment and Traci at the office scheduled a revisit two days later. Jake fixed everything and the whole system works perfectly. The new high-tech proprietary switches are great. I also managed to get some new components for my built in vacuum system! This is a great company with the nicest people! I highly recommend them.

I had a speaker jutting out of the ceiling because of the broken dog legs. This is not something you would find at a Home or a Lowe's, you have to call the manufacturer. But they won't sell this part separately. That's where California Built-ins stepped in and ordered the part for me shipped it at no cost. I am grateful for them going out of their way to assist, so much so that not only will I come back for any replacement or repairs of my speaker system, but I will also recommend your company to family and friends.

For various reasons, I decided to change alarm systems. I was paying California Built In Systems (CBIS) by the year for monitoring services. I left a message for CBIS wondering if I was eligible for a refund of my monitoring fee, since I dropped their service half way through the year. I received a call from Ken (owner?) and was told that I could have my refund if I would remove my previous, unfavorable review, from their website. I asked Ken if I was eligible for a refund. He said yes, but he would appreciate it if I’d remove my previous review. Again, I asked if I was eligible for a refund and received the same answer. In effect, Ken is holding my refund as ransom, contingent upon the removal of my first review. Still waiting for my money, Ken!
