Cool little boba spot to grab some Boba drinks, tea, smoothie, coffee, and snacks. Really delicious drinks and the boba was fresh and perfectly chewy, has a cute atmosphere and staff were super friendly and helpful. Played some claw machine game and won nothing but that’s just user error…

Come to chill or hang out, the ambiance is so chill. Do homework, study or just catch up with friends. This summer while you enjoy a delicious boba milk tea or other drinks they offer. They are all delicious!! Staff is great and they have cool items for purchase. Have fun and enjoy!!!

I live nearby california boba and when they first opened I was excited because I love boba! They did not disappoint and have a variety of flavors. I asked if they can add boba in any drink and they said yes. They are quick and very considerate when making the drink however sweet you would like. The drinks are not expensive and very affordable to go once every day! Customer service is also great. The workers always greet with a smile which is so welcoming. My friends and I often come because it is our favorite hang out spot. Inside is a cute set up to talk with friends or hang out with family. The squish mellows add comfort, overall it’s a nice cozy place. Not only do they sell drinks but also pastry’s and cups/bottles. My favorite would be the macaroons, most places sell broken ones but they don’t. They have a variety of different drinks not just milk teas. They have smoothies, frappes, refreshers, and tea. They added more to their menu and I am excited to try them all! Will come more than often in a week.

I am a big milk tea fan. When I was in China, my colleagues and I explored every milk tea shops around us. This is the BEST one we found in Montebello. During our business trip, we get mild tea here every two weeks. Highly recommend to all Bobast Friends!

Mini fridge with tasty packaged desserts. Gacha vending machines. Average prices for a boba store. WiFi and lots of outlets available along all the bench tables indoor. Open layout. Music choice has slightly improved. The outside tables and night lights are nice. Various drink options available. The menu has shrunk drastically. Staff is either fast or appear to NOT EXIST AT ALL. Sometimes my drinks arrive faster than I can pay, and sometimes they take longer than a TV show to make 1-2 drinks. They have a menu with a variety of drink types. They have more than just milk tea on the menu; there are: coffee-based drinks, smoothies, and lemonades. There's also a little fridge with packaged goods near the register. This place is declining. Their prices have increased since I last went and their menu was drastically downsized. Their prices are still okay. Your favorite drink(s) are likely gone. However, my orders have consistently been made wrong or tasted like milk. If I wanted milk I would go to a local grocery store. One visit with my family, we thought all the workers abandoned the place; we almost left. It took quite some time for 1 of the girls to greet us. Not sure what all of them are doing but they're probably gossiping or texting. I would complain to a manager but it doesn't look like this place has one, so whoever owns this place is mismanaging it. Small business owners must be having a hard time so I try to support them, but this place makes it hard to want to. Major (Annoying) Edit: I've seen the lights still on way pass closing hours on some weekends, a few times pass 12AM. I decided to check it out last Saturday, after reading the message. I was excited--thinking they had new weekend closing hours, so I finally went to check it out. Turns out it was just some girl working almost into the AM hours doing nothing on a laptop, just staring at it, not even touching it. If you need something to do, TAKE MY ORDER! You gave my hope up and lost out on business. You might as well be one of the few late night businesses open if you are going to semi-consistently be open that late on weekend nights; it could be your niche, like the boba shop of donuts shops, but you'd rather have workers hanging out, like usual...I was about to do a revisit but it's clearly not needed because not much has changed; a facelift is only for appearances but deep down you are the same disappointment. Regardless, you might as well have them taking orders if you still have workers there hanging out, right?! :) Cleanliness: Most of the tables and bench have consistently needed some love. Sometimes it will be empty and still a little dirty; I noticed it did improve a bit. On multiple visits, there was a mess while staff hung out in the customer area. I'm not sure if this business allows everyone to be on break at the same time but if they did, then I guess it's fine for staff to be comfy hanging out on their laptops and phones. I saw some improvements but could be better. Drink favorite(s): My favorite is the Thai tea (savory and sweet), strawberry matcha (very sweet, savory matcha, and tasty), and brown sugar milk tea (sweet goodness)!!!!!! Edit: Taro is a bunch of powder :( I also discovered how good their fraps were!!! So much caramel compared to Starbucks!!! Pro: A variety of cold drinks available. Wifi. Lots of outlets. Bathrooms are generally clean. Con: Your drink will probably come out wrong. Feels less beachy :( Overview: When the drinks are made right, they're good but I wouldn't gamble my money. They often serve me a giant clumpy boba. It was an okay place with potential for awhile and it seemed like they would improve, but at the same time there has also been a decline in quality...not only in the products... Sometimes staff gives the feeling like they just don't care.

This place is delicious. Their boba is amazing and they customize and add more toppings if you ask. They also have some food items like Kimchi balls that are really good. Their customer service is amazing. The servers are kind and always answer our questions. We visit at least once a week! I highly recommend to come and enjoy a boba date here 😍
