Calafia INN - Motel in San Clemente - 2341 S El Camino Real, USA

Nous avons passé une nuit dans ce charmant hôtel disposant d’une situation idéale, à côté de la plage. Les hôtes sont adorables et très arrangeants. La chambre était très propre et dispose d’une grande télé écran plat. La décoration est charmante et l’hôtel est totalement rénové. Nous avons vraiment apprécié la petite kitchenette mise à disposition des clients, contenant plaque électrique, micro-ondes, machine à café etc. Merci encore pour ce séjour avec un très bon rapport qualité prix !

Cute small hotel run by very nice folks! Very clean, rooms are nice and located right near a free trolley stop to downtown. Renovation is very nice with cute touches in the room- I think the older reviews are from pre-renovation. Prices are great as well. We would definitely stay again

I was just looking for a nice place to spend the night. I didn't need a pool, gym or a breakfast in the morning. Calafia Inn was nicely remodeled, superbly clean, the shower was great and the bed comfortable. Although no coffee in the room, there is coffee, ice and other amenities in a designated area that is convenient. The owners were around to provide assistance in a friendly and welcoming way. With a reasonable price, I had money for a pleasant breakfast at the pier and to refuel my car. If you don't need fancy - this is the place.

Stayed here for a few days and was very impressed. I was traveling alone for part of my stay and felt safe and comfortable. It is a small property, but I had everything I needed, and it felt very personal. A few minutes drive to downtown SC or the state beach. Very convenient. Will definitely be back.

The Calafia Inn was a great experience. Room was clean, safe, convenient, and comfortable. The people who run it were very personable and a joy to interact with. They were interested in talking without being nosy and were happy to meet any needs (I had very few). ||The inn has been updated during covid lockdowns, so don't let the earlier reviews scare you off. I will be staying there again.

Really beautiful hotel in a perfect location at a super affordable price! We stayed in their small basic room with one queen bed, but there are other options available. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. Dave and Joyce give excellent service, and are incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. They really go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The place feels very safe and at night is very quiet! You can park just outside your room too. The room was very clean and everything in it looked new. The amenities were great, especially the spacious shower was perfect after coming back from the beach. There’s a cute little outdoors area to lounge and enjoy the weather. It’s very close to restaurants, downtown, shopping, an art museum, and most importantly, the beach. Perfect if you love to surf or have a beach vacation and want an amazing spot to stay that wont break the bank. Don’t pass up on this shoreside gem!

Recently remodeled, this quaint hotel is a little gem. The room we stayed in was small but super clean (no carpets, which at first was weird but then I realized how much sense it makes). It also has a flatscreen TV, mini refrigerator and blow dryer. Everything is so clean! Each side of the bed has its own outlet and night stand. Also included is a bench. No dresser or desk so counter space is limited. It’s a bit noisy and we could hear our neighbors through the wall but everyone staying here did not make loud noises during the night so it wasn’t an issue. Did I mention how clean the room is? There’s a community kitchen where you can make yourself a Keurig cup of coffee, get some hot Lipton tea, filtered water, and microwave some food. There’s even an electric burner but I didn’t explore for a pot or pan. Not unexpectedly, the kitchen was clean too. Joyce, the owner, and husband Dave, are so kind and friendly. They care about this place and providing quality service, which is obvious by all the little (and big) details (decor, free samples throughout the property, cleanliness 😄 etc). During the summer, they said they provide boogie boards. It’s a one mile walk to the beach and there are also eating establishments within walking distance. Plenty more restaurants within a short drive too. Glad we found this place and if we are in San Clemente, we would definitely stay here again.

Perfect 2-night stay. Room was completely new and immaculately clean. Nice little self-serve kitchen. Very quiet.
