One of the best cafes in philly! The brunch was fantastic and flavorful. I got the salmon eggs Benedict which came with a side salad and my partner got the potato hash which came with an egg on top. Both dishes were plenty filling and we also got lattes and dessert. The vibe and atmosphere was calm and inviting and not too busy for a Saturday! I want to come back and try all of the seasonal pumpkin spice drinks, waffles and bakery items!
Love this place in Philly! Here are the cutest and most delicious pastries, this is the key-lime flavor cheese cake mousse and mini rose latte!

A cute cafe that has lots of seatings, nice and clean. Went there on a Saturday afternoon, not too many people in there.
We ordered cappuccino, iced coffee, ube muffin, rare cheesecake and chocolate mousse cake. Everything was very good except the muffin.

Cute little place for coffee, cakes and even lunch. I’ve been to this location couple of times, they’re quite busy on the weekend. I ordered their mocha latte and it was ok, I wish it was more chocolatey, their cake and lunch menu is amazing though. Definitely recommended to visit if you’re in the area
Super cute, spacious and quiet new cafe at the corner of busy 3rd and Reed Street that opened during the covid era. Spacious and quiet enough to get work done but also have a small friend gathering for food. I believe they are piloting a brunch menu because I did not see some items on yelp or Google. There is also outdoor seating available. Ordering and safety precautions are in place and the overall place is very clean with friendly staff. There is no server to take your order and everything is done with your phone and scanning a QR code. It is super convenient!
I ordered the Quinoa Pumpkin bowl and the peach refresher for my meal. For dessert, I got the Matcha Light Cream Cake.
Pros: I really like the refresher because it was super bubbly, not too sweet and of course, refreshing. The Quinoa Pumpkin bowl was a super healthy choice on the menu and very filling. The bowl contains plenty of protein items and veggies: chickpeas, a hard boiled egg, quinoa at the bottom, shrimp, avocados, tomatoes,, and roasted pumpkin. At first I thought they put peanut butter or caramel on top but it's a homemade tangy but sweet sauce that complemented the ingredients in the dish. My favorite highlight of the meal was the matcha cake. If you like matcha and you like cakes then this one is a solid choice. It has a layer of brownie infused into the matcha cake. The cream was not a sugar bomb and the right amount. I'm still thinking about it! I love how they decorated and made their cakes so beautiful. It makes you want to order them all!
Cons: There are only two cons I can think of on the top of my head. In my quinoa dish, I found the roasted pumpkin to be over cooked and too dry. Overall the wait time to get the meal was quite long. However, like I said, they could be working out the kinks to launching new items and expanding their menu for customers. It was still worth the wait! The prices for the cakes were on the more expensive end but it was delicious. It wouldn't encourage me to get one frequently but once in a blue moon as a nice treat for myself.
Overall, I loved my experience here and would 100% recommend it especially since their menu seem to be expanding. I love the vibes and the simple decor inside. It's spacious, quiet, friendly staff and amazing food quality.

We travel to Philly regularly to see family. We make it a point to enjoy at least one trip to Cale and Joe when we are there.
Their perfectly sized, delicious cakes are for sure the front and center stars, but do not sleep on their amazing menu.
We have a deep love for their breakfast and brunch options. We have never had an item that wasn’t top tier awesome.
Cake and Joe is also the perfect spot to grab a coffee and pop open the laptop to catch up on a few work tasks. The vibe is impeccable.

This place is awesome. Great look inside and out. Chill vibes if you want to get some work done or chat with someone over coffee. Their cake is spectacular, and their coffee is good too (although I'm not a coffee expert). They had plenty of seating when I went, and I was very happy with what I got. Would definitely recommend, this is probably my go to cafe now.

This cafe is the best!!!! The menu is all hits you literally canât go wrong. Itâs cozy, the staff is lovely, and the owner is so sweet. You should get the escarole and bean soup, the avocado toast, or the summer salad. But also the chicken salad
