The coffee was ok. The omelette wasn’t bad. Unfortunately the hash browns seemed over cooked to me. Same issue when I was there 6 years ago. From browsing at others plate look like that’s usually how they make their hash browns 😬. Waitress was kind.
Food was delicious and such a great value. The prices and atmosphere exceeded expectations. It was super busy so expect to wait, but it’s definitely worth it. Enjoy the friendly atmosphere and lean into the local diner experience.
Stopped here for breakfast on my way from Illinois back to Wisconsin after a weekend trip and was pleasantly surprised. The area seemed a little sketchy coming from an out of towner but everything else made up for it. The host was so nice and kept providing us with updates as to how long it would take since we were a big table and was super accommodating and tried to get us in as fast as possible. I ordered the breakfast sampler platter and you definitely get your moneys worth with that plate. I LOVED how crispy the hash browns were and this is the only place that has made them perfect to my liking. For $10 you get ham, bacon, sausage links, eggs and hash r browns. I can’t remember if that was everything but it’s definitely worth it. The only bad thing I could say was that I ordered an iced coffee that cost $3.49 and it was served in an 8 oz cup and tasted like chocolate milk and not like the mocha iced coffee that I ordered. Other than that, me and my family really enjoyed our breakfast and the service was great. The lemonade tasted handmade and not fake like countryside it was amazing and to die for 🤤 if we lived in the state and not 6 hours away we would definitely come back but unfortunately it’s too far of a drive for breakfast!
Food was great. I chicken fried steak eggs and biscuits with gravy. Service was good. Definitely recommend
Very easy to find off interstate, quickly seated, ample seating. Wonderfully friendly wait staff. Great breakfast choices available throughout the day. Reasonable serving sizes and all at a decent price.
This is a classic diner spot. It is highly frequented by the local families and has regulars who were known by name! They got us in quickly and the service was awesome. Before you even sat down they asked what you wanted to drink and brought it to you in quick fashion. The menu is varied with things for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. The omelets was tasty as were the pancakes. We loved that the bread was pre-buttered and the butter was well distributed. Loved trying the "American French fries". They were tasty and crispy! My favorite though were the hashbrowns--hands down the best I've had in a while! Not too thick, fried nice and crispy. Just amazing! After a long hike and overnight camp, this was exactly what we needed! Also, very affordable! Definitely made for the family experience! Also, loved the diversity of the clientele! Translates to a very welcoming environment! Kudos :-) Thanks again!
We been there many times for breakfast (only). This is a very busy place at times and can be very loud. The food is ok. We had some cold egg one time but the nice manager took care of that right away. It depends on the server but most of the time they are friendly.
Reasonably priced, good good, and great service! Family owned restaurant doing a great job keeping the doors open by doing all they can. Cleaning between guests & wearing masks. Friendly hometown atmosphere with simple clean decor.

Excellent authentic Mexican food in a small town. The taco dinner and quesadillas were both tasty. They serve chips and salsa complimentary once youâre seated which is something I love to see at Mexican restaurants. The place was very busy for take
The food was very reasonably priced with generous portions and great service. They also had a wonderful selection. We had a lunch special, parmesan tilapia, liver and onions and pecan pie. It was all great. The plate of liver and sauteed onions was a
This is such a gem in the city and is such a unique place to eat. The parking can be cramped, but the food, service, and atmosphere are always spot on. I enjoyed the fruit and chicken salad with poppy seed dressing. It was wonderful, but I forgot
