This place is quite the hidden gem! Best cocktails in Detroit. Delicious coffee. The atmosphere is so cozy and beautifully styled. The service is absolutely stellar here- thank you so much to Alec for taking such great care of us on our anniversary! We can’t wait to come back.
Hidden spot that resulted in a great experience. Menu can be easily read and has great breakfast, brunch, and coffee options.
As someone who chases specialty coffee, I thoroughly enjoyed the coffee here. Dominque answered my coffee questions and provided great services in serving me.
Ordered drip and espresso for here and it was great! Definitely will come back and suggest it to friends.
Wow! Wonderful little cafe on the basement level. Prices are a little high but it’s such a great atmosphere, very kind friendly staff. Order from the counter and find a seat at the tables or welcoming bar. Coffee drinks and desserts are offered as well as a cocktail menu with the standards and creative mixes.
The decor is perfect in every way.
I had a great experience at Cafe Sous Terre - very cool place, underground location. The blade sign isn't that big, so it could be easy to miss if you're not looking for it. You have to descend a few steps to enter and it makes for a charming/whimsical feeling. There are about 8 tables inside with a lot of young professionals/WSU students studying. The coffee is excellent and the staff is very friendly. Street parking only, and there are some free spots on Forest and some metered spots on Cass that are easy to walk to. The lighting and interior design in the space is incredible, and they had some spooky halloween decorations when I was there in October 2023.
We saw this place featured on today's national NBC news with all the great things happening in Detroit. Checked it out on our way home after dinner downtown for a nightcap and dessert. Wow, what a great hidden gem! Great desserts and some interesting cocktails.
My new best place! Ask the staff about the origins of the food prepared. It’s a cool French (hint) story!
Craft drinks, food, coffee and a great vibe.
If you see John outside sitting on the steps just say high! I stopped by with 3 friends and we attacked the dessert menu. All are very good but I can’t speak to the Apple dessert… they were out. Next time.
The 🎵 playing and the attention to detail of the place is 5/5. Hats off to the interior designer. Plenty of cozy spots to start your morning. I liked the 2 high back chairs for two. The staff was very friendly and professional.
To order you go to the counter and order and your food/ drinks are brought to your table.
Being from NYC this cafe has a cool NYC feel walking down stairs to enter!
Parking is on the street but we had no issues finding a location. Very safe area for walking if that’s your preference.
I highly recommend this new establishment.and I will be back to round out tasting all the desserts.
I went on the 2nd day that they were officially open and it was such a delightful space!
It was really well-designed, not only the space, but also the drinks that I got (latte, and a caipirinha). The jazz music playing really added to the ambience as well.
The staff was really friendly and accommodating and it felt a little bit like catching up with an old friend.
It will quickly become one of my go-to spots; it's such a gem of a place!
Saw this advertised and wanted to check it out. The drinks and atmosphere did not disappoint. Sadly, I didn't snap a pic. I selfishly wanted to preserve the vibe all the way through. Will definitely get one next time. The drinks were killer. Great spot. Will return
Such a cute coffee shop hidden in Detroit that I found on my last day in the city. Amazing cinnamon roll and avocado toast and each drink comes with a handwritten message!! Will definitely be back
It was giving cozy, homey vibes. ð Very peaceful & chill. There are games on the table: chess, checkers, tic-tac-toe. I had a banana nut muffin: yummy & moist. I also had the caramel bourbon coffee: exquisite. Iâll definitely be returning. Love
For Detroiters looking for their new favorite coffee spot, your search is over. This place is nothing like any of the local shops, easily one of the most beautiful coffee shops in Michigan. Coffee is excellent would recommend the DEM latte (their spi
Really cool place. The staff were very courteous. They have whole bean coffee and some merch. The cheesecake desserts, cookies, and muffins are great. I had the eggnog cheesecake, which was amazing. My wife had a chocolate cookie that they warmed up.
One of my favorite coffeeshops in detroit. Yummy drinks and rotating selection of quality local sweets. I love having a coffee in the sprawling spot lite. There's good energy and people drawn to this place.
Stumbled on this gem on google and I was not disappointed! They have this vegan pizza thatâs delicious. The coffee is just ok. There is a record shop next door and they keep the attached door open as they play records from the shop themselves. Grea
Really cool spot with a chic atmosphere and laid back vibe. Great location right downtown and itâs convenient for a quick coffee meeting as they have multiple semi private seating areas to use. The coffee was excellent and the barista was very frie

The food here is absolutely unmatched. From the flavor to the quality to the service, everything was 10/10. Ali has an ability to treat strangers like family. This restaurant is unreal!! Do yourself a favor and order the Iraqi Kabob, by far the best
My first time to this studio and Faith was extraordinary. I appreciated her walking around the room and helping the class with adjustments. She had a great energy and presence. I enjoyed the paint color and ambiance of the studio room. The class
Great concept and use of space. Fragrance shop during the day and cocktail bar at night. They match the flavours of the cocktails with their signature scents which is a pretty cool idea. The cocktails we tried were all great and they did work well wi

Today, I experienced my first George's Saturday morning spin class. The Beyonce Renaissance theme brought together silver, shine, and sweat in a workout like I haven't had in ages! The class kicked off punctually, and the energy remained consistently
I recently visited âTime Will Tell,â and it was a fantastic experience. The bartender was not only knowledgeable but also cool to chat with. The drinks were absolutely badass, and the atmosphere exuded a classic and nice vibe. A must-visit for a
French cow is really a gem of the Eastern Market. If you live in or near Detroit, breakfast or brunch at the French Cow at the Eastern Market (in Shed 5) is really a treat. It is my go to on a Saturday morning at the Market.
I recommend getting to

Hands down, the absolute best experience I've ever had at a clothing store. The gentlemen here will take care of you. Expert fashion advice, flawless alterations, and the utmost top of the line customer service! They have what you need to have you
Went in close to them closing and they were amazing! Didn't seem to bother them one bit. We tired a few different flavors before picking the one we wanted. The coffee was also just as amazing as the gelato.
