Five stars on all aspects of a great restaurant; Food, Service and Atmosphere!
We had a group of 12 for a Holiday Dinner on a Wednesday night. We were offered a 5 course meal and everything was delicious! From the individually plated appetizers to the salad to our main course and finally the coffee and Tiramisu... Servers were very attentive even though it was a full house and it was just a great atmosphere to share amongst coworkers.. Food came out in a timely manner and we were always being checked on..
Definitely recommend
Added bonus: it is BYOB
What a wonderful Italian restaurant. We had a very large group, so they created a 5 course dinner for us. We walked into a private room with wine and drink options, had time to talk and enjoy ourselves before starting dinner. All starters, soup, and salad were predetermined, and we selected our entree. One unique thing they did was put all appetizer options on individual plates for each guest. We all appreciated this way of service because it allowed all of us to spend more time talking and enjoying the time than messing with an array of passing this, that, and the other. All the food was fabulous. The tiramisu and coffee to end the night were perfection. The waiters were fabulous and created a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant has a very nice vibe to it that allows you to eat and spend time without feeling rushed at all. I would definitely go back to experience options on the full menu. I have heard they have a great brunch as well. Wonderful experience overall.
My family and I hosted a memorial luncheon here for about 50 people after our mother's recent funeral. The staff couldn't have been more kind or attentive (both in helping to plan the event and during the lunch itself), and all of the food was delicious. And even though this is a BYOB restaurant, they also sell (by the bottle) a small selection of wines from Alba Vineyard (in Milford, NJ of all places)... all of which were excellent.
We can't thank everyone at Cafe Sapori enough for their kindness and help celebrating our mother's life with friends and family.
If you want to enjoy a relaxing day/evening out, this is your place. It's easy to get to, beautifully decorated, everyone is very pleasant, polite, & very attentive to you, especially Matt/Mani the owners. There is nothing on the menu that I've not enjoyed, everything is delicious & freshly, & carefully prepared. It's a great place to have you're special celebrations too!! I can't say enough good things about these very special people that own & operate this restaurant.......definitely worth looking into.
I highly recommend this BYOB restaurant. The food is excellent. The space is attractive and fresh. The service is plentiful and attentive...but maybe a little too quick. They clear too quickly and with too many attendants. I felt like there was too much activity swirling around me as I finished each course. My conversation with my dining companion was interrupted too often. I would have liked some more breathing room. Although they do not rush you to leave once you have been served and cleared of your last course. Maybe the "attention" is just "new" earnestness and will calm down. I also felt the tables were too small for all the plates and glasses--you had to pay close attention to lift your stemware out from under the rim of a plate. It was a juggling act. However, these things will not keep me from coming back. On the contrary, I look fwd to my next and repeated visits.
Go somewhere else!! Bad experience all around. The whole restaurant smells like cooked fish. There is no vibe, character, or atmosphere to speak of (even during the holidays??) except over crowded. The service is rushed. The salads were sad and my husbands pasta came out room temp. Not going back and will not recommend.
Don’t come here if you want a romantic dinner, because you will basically be shouting at your partner to hold a conversation.
Packed with people, all yelling, this restaurant needs to work on acoustics immediately.
Appetizers are too simple and basic. I could plump a bulb of buratta on some tomato slices and it will look better than this.
Likewise the carpaccio, the beef slices should be the presentation here not the bucket load of arugula hiding it.
Veal entrees were ok, cooked perfectly with just enough sauce yet the vegetables seemed as though they were pulled from a bulk steamer for each dish. Stop filling my wine glass when it is still half full, good etiquette says you should wait until the glass is empty.
Can do better, we won’t be back in a hurry because of the noise and there are better options around.
Bernardsville dining needs to pick up steam fast.
2 hours after we got there we were still waiting for our dinner. Entire families had come and gone. We finally gave up and left some cash for the appetizers that we did receive and left... Still with no dinner. I'll chalk it up to their recent opening, but our experience was unacceptable. We'll try it again, perhaps not at the busy dinner time.
Appetizers were very good. I'm expecting dinner would be also. I will edit this when we try again.

This is one of our favorite places in Morristown! The coffee is phenomenal. The Turkish coffee is very authentic and all of their lattes and cappuccinos are also delicious. Their baklava is some of the best Iâve ever had. I really could not recomme
Itâs hard to find the words to describe how delicious the food is and the atmosphere. That candle you see burning is actually edible ð± and it tasted very good as well. Service was great. Salmon was very juicy and well cooked. You have to try the
