Cafe Roma - Pizza restaurant in New Orleans - 1800 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd, USA

This is my second review of Cafe Roma. I was back in New Orleans this week and wanted to try Cafe Roma again. About two months ago I went with a group of people but this time I went alone. I was the only customer dining in the restaurant but there were several to-go orders while I was there. Last time I had a sandwich so this time I wanted to try something different. I ordered a small Caesar salad and a small margarita pizza. My salad came out first and it was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were very fresh, homemade croutons were super crunchy and flavorful, they really piled on the parmigiana, which I love and the Caesar dressing was bright and tangy. The margarita pizza is one of the best I’ve ever had. There was so much cheese it was almost absurd, in a really delicious way! The crust was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I really enjoyed the addition of minced garlic to the top. The waiter was the younger guy that was there before. As before he was very polite and no intrusive. When I finished my meal I asked for the check and since I had some time left before I needed to go back to the office I asked if he minded if I sat for a while. He graciously said of course and even brought me some ice water when I saw I had finished my drink. Over all a wonderful and relaxing experience and I will be back and look forward to trying another item on the menu. Thank you Cafe Roma for your hospitality.

Hungry at Lunchtime, google maps shows me Cafe Roma is 5 mins away. Drive over, walk in, cool & dark interior - earth tones. Italian music wafting over the smells of an Italian Kitchen. I study the menu, order a Meatball Sammy for lunch - and end up ordering a Med Combo Pizza for Dinner as well. Who wants to cook on a Friday? Work is over, the week is done, I have some Baseball Play-off games to watch. ⚾️ First time here, but definitely not my last. I was a little hesitant due to past reviews. But we really enjoyed Cafe Roma. Our server was very nice and attentive and the food was excellent! We’ll definitely be returning!

Food was delicious, and fresh! Izabella was our server, it was her first day and she was excellent! Friendly and courteous. We will definitely be back when we are in NOLA

What a shame. After ordering food via the Uber eats app, I was firstly told the order would be late. I was hoping the wait for the lasagne would be worth it. After opening the delivery I honestly though a cat had thrown up. I appreciate deliveries can be difficult and the roads in New Orleans are bad, but food needs to look a little bit appetising. Maybe the taste will make up for it. No taste. It was so bland. Like tomato sauce and some flat pasta. The nam bread style garlic bread was tasteless. I guess my quest for a decent lasagne continues. It’s impossible to leave a review on Uber eats app so here it is.

Tried several dishes while we were here, toasted ravioli, Hawaiian pizza, & chicken parmigiana. Everything was amazing, super fresh and delicious. Excellent service and tasty food. Highly recommend if you're craving authentic Italian. Even the salad served with the meal was incredible.

Probably one of the best pizza's I have had in a very long time. Steady stream of people picking up take out orders, so it seems to have a good reputation. Does not appear to have dining in, even though the tables and chairs are present.

Amazing pizza, slight mishap on one of them and they fixed it right away with zero issue. We ate in house, it was quite and everyone was exceptionally nice. Highly recommend for quick service and amazing food! We had a small Margherita pizza and small a artichoke and sausage. They were incredible and highly recommended
