Cesar was amazing, the food was out of this world delicious. Every flavor for so well together. Their chocolate fondant is so delicious the entire menu is worth every bite and the General Manager Mike was extremely kind and shared some pretty interesting facts about the restaurant and dishes. Thank you so much for such a great experience. The atmosphere got perfect for groups and date night. Please don't hesitate to stop in and enjoy this fantastic location. You definitely don't regret
Dinner for our anniversary. The staff made us feel very welcome with a signed card and complimentary dessert. Food was incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented. Surprised there were no specials and not as many options as expected, but we were able to request side items from other dishes to accommodate our pickiness. We will definitely dine at Cafe Navarre again.
This is not your typical dining experience! The options, flavor combinations, and service here are top notch!! Prince, our server was absolutely wonderful! He gave us great tips and guidance in choosing our food & drinks and went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible experience and plenty of smiles! If you are looking for somewhere you can get some of those more rare dishes you cannot go wrong here! The octopus, tartare, and lamb are prepared to perfection!! Definitely a new favorite date night spot!
We made a reservation for my birthday and everything was absolutely perfect. Our server was John and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was quiet and the food was exceptional. This was our first time visiting and we will definitely be planning future date nights at Cafe Navarre!
I have been coming to SB for years and let's face it, food is not a reason to visit. But Cafe Navarre is not only good, but excellent. Food here is superb and a good reason to come to town for dinner. Great job for many years now.
Absolutely magical, from the second we parked our car. A server and two customers complimented us on our stylish shoes and outfits, and as we opened the door, so did the staff. They showed us to our table, which already had a greeting card waiting for us with the words "Happy Anniversary" on the envelope. Then along came our server, don César. He helped my husband narrow his selection down from 5 contenders to the pork chuletas 🥩. Joe loved them. He said they were well done with a juicy texture but not a drop of red. I knew I wanted to try the Thai 🇹🇭 coconut 🥥 curry 🍛, but had don César not described it exactly as he did ("It tastes like a good Thai or Indian curry, but much less like a soup 🍲 and much more like a stir fry."), I don't know if I would have liked it so much. His description was spot on. Once I knew what to expect, I was able to appreciate the blend of flavors and the texture of each vegetable so much more. While we waited for our plats principaux to arrive, Joe enjoyed his soupe à l'oignon 🧅 and I absolutely loved my beet salad. Our signature cocktails were awesome too. Joe's full tilt had the perfect blend of bourbon and citrus, and my ohelo was a blueberry 🫐 coconut 🥥 orange 🍊 paradise. And afterwards, our desserts were epic. My dark chocolate crémeux was magnifique, and Joe's apple 🍎 plumb cobbler with a plumb-infused Spanish port 🍷 stole the show. We thought nothing could possibly make our evening any better, but then don César brought us each a glass of cava 🥂 on the house to celebrate our anniversary. Now we have a new place to celebrate special occasions. Counting the days 'til we come back.
A pleasant surprise while on business journey to South Bend IN. Set in a century old bank building, this 11 year old restaurant brings old world charm to a modern yet comfortable American cuisine! Beet salad & the lamb shank were both satisfying & aesthetic pleasing!
Two couples out for the evening. Tickets to the Morris to watch the great Trans-Siberian Orchestra do their Christmas show. It was wonderful! Prior to the show we ate at Cafe Navarre. It was our first time there, and it was great. Loved the atmosphere, had an old time feel to it. Had a great server, wonderful cocktails, and a meal that was nothing short of great! No complaints from any of us. We’ll be back
Pre-ordered meals and when I got there the service was on point. They have an awesome pick up system where you don't even have to get out of your vehicle. The food is always spectacular
