I highly recommend this place. We went for a quick lunch and were able to sit right away. My wife had a kale salad with grilled shrimp. I had some chicken wings and potatoe soup. The service was personable and very prompt. Try it if you have a chance.
The service was awful this time as it was last time I was here. The waitress was rude and flicked our chopsticks in our direction rather than handing them to us or placing them on the table. When my order came out, there were mushrooms in the salad. I told the waitress of my allergy and she responded, “you should have said something” rather than offering to swap out the food. I have never been to a restaurant that added mushrooms to a salad without noting it somewhere on their menu. When my meal was returned to me, I ate it in good faith assuming that my salad was replaced. I believe they picked the mushrooms out because I wound up having a severe allergic reaction. This is a dangerous situation that they should be held more accountable for. Had my allergy been more severe, this server and restaurant could have caused me to go into anaphylactic shock. Horrible experience and even worse service.
Really lovely BYOB place. Extremely nice servers who handle a busy crowd so be patient. Food is excellent and enjoy a date night here. Bread was some of the best rustic bread I've had outside of Europe. Thank you.
Waitress was very knowledgeable. It was a nice atmosphere. The food tasted good but I do have two gripes. But it could just be a fluke evening in this sense. I wish the special I had (mahi mahi in a scampi sauce) was cooked in the scampi sauce instead of cooked separately and then plated on top of the sauce instead. I would have liked more scampi sauce as well. The other gripe is that it took longer than I would have cared for our groups meal to be served. Granted we had a group of 8 for dinner. So that could be the case here. I would definitely go back and try them again. I really wanted to put my score as 3.5.
This is my new fav spot for lunch. Food is tasty, service is friendly, atmosphere is down to earth. Prices are great and great portions. They have something for everyone. Sandwiches, burgers, pizza, pasta, vegetarian. Indoor and outdoor seating, wheelchair and stroller ramp. I've been here twice and each time both of us got different things and loved it.
My clients picked this spot for lunch. I decided to get the vegetable stir fry. When I arrived I told the nice server that I was picking up, she told me they were packing it. Another lady came out and told me it will be a little more time so I sat and waited. It took about another 10 to 15 minutes. I dropped off the food and when I got in I ate. The stir fry was very filling but it was just ok in taste. I had to add a little hot sauce and it needed a little season salt but it wasn't bad, it was just ok. I would need to give another one of their dishes a try.
Understaffed on a Friday night? Sheesh, if tables can't be served in less than an hour after ordering, they shouldn't be sat down. My party waited nearly 90 minites for food and 20 minutes just to order. Wait staff was obviously overworked beyond belief and kitchen was definitely feeling the heat. Management needs to fix these issues. Hire more people front and back of house or you'll keep getting complaints about the wait times. Food was of varying deliciousness. My chicken, for example, was fabulous. The ravioli was hard (not al dente) and sauce had been reduced from how it came in the can. Pork chops were dry but sauce/pineapple was adequate. Kitchen wouldn't have been able handle our dessert order because it was nearly 9 o'clock closing after our 2 hour ordeal. Would I ever come again? Definitely not. I can cook a meal consistently better than this place in half the time, and I'm no chef. 2 stars for the fabulous chicken, otherwise 1 star for literally everything else.
My friend had shrimp risotto and enjoyed it. I had the Chicken Peanut dish which was very good but my rice had 2 or 3 chunks of big hardened pieces. Its like they overcooked it and gave me that section. Service was excellent. I realized after I got home that I paid more because I used a credit card. I ran a business for over 10 years. I think accepting credit cards is part of doing business and clients shouldn’t be charged. I’ve only seen this in small mom & pop shops. My fault for not noticing as I was enjoying my friends company. In addition, the fee I was charged was almost 4%. I know card processing isn’t that expensive. I find this practice to be a bit cheesy and insulting.
