Step into a world of flavor and fun at Cafe Dolce on The Hill, a vibrant gem on The Hill. This chic cafe's undeniable charm is palpable from the moment you walk in. With a “Great” 5-star rating, let me share the incredible journey of taste and service that guarantees an experience worth cherishing. Our coffee adventure began with the Iced Matcha Latte, a refreshing concoction that boasts a perfect balance of sweetness and the robust flavor of matcha. If you're a fan of iced drinks, don't miss the Iced Vanilla Latte - a smooth blend of quality coffee and creamy vanilla that will cool your senses and ignite your taste buds. For those seeking warmth, the Peach Hot Tea, with its calming aroma and soothing taste, is a comforting delight that shouldn't be missed. The food at Cafe Dolce isn't just a side show - it's a star in its own right. The Blueberry Scone was a dance of flavors in our mouths, bursting with the sweetness of fresh blueberries wrapped in a delicately baked treat. The croissant sandwiches were a revelation - flaky, buttery, and generously filled, they are a testament to the cafe's commitment to quality and taste. But Cafe Dolce isn't just about fantastic food and drinks. The service is exceptional, and the ambiance is fun and visually pleasing - a testament to its status as a top St. Louis hotspot. Nestled in a great part of town, the cafe's location adds to its allure, making it a destination not just for a quick bite, but for a delightful culinary adventure. In conclusion, Cafe Dolce on The Hill is not just a cafe - it's a celebration of great food, phenomenal drinks, and a vibrant atmosphere. If you're in St. Louis, make it a point to visit - it's an experience you won't want to miss.

One of my favorite coffie shops in The Hill! The espresso was perfect. They have a large variety of Italian pastries. The coffee is from Italy. The service was great and atmosphere reminded me of being back in Italy. Plenty of outdoor seating. #littleitaly #thehill #italiancoffee #italianpastry #supportlocal #italianshop

Finally rented a house on the Hill through VRBO and found this place. It definitely feels like a local gem. All my years of eating at the Hill and no clue this was here. So glad they were open on Sunday, great staff and amazing caffeinated drinks.

Where do I start? At the exposed brick interior? Or maybe the great decor and merchandise that portrays Café Dolce’s pride in its heritage in the heart of the Hill on St. Louis’s lower west side? I suspect you may even be wondering about the staff and their immediate friendliness, helpfulness, or their family-owned roots. Without a doubt, you’re sure to find all of these, and even more. But how about we talk about the menu. I ordered a cortado with oat milk steamed to perfection. It was light but bold, with that unmistakable quality of Italian espresso. As for the delicious pastries and cakes, we ordered the tiramisu and a chocolate mousse, as well as a few mouthfuls of cherry amoretto cookies. The last were supposed to be for the road, but truthfully they didn’t make it out of the door—too yummo! The sweets were decadent, the service was immaculate (shout out to Aggie and her daughter for making the atmosphere vibrate with friendly tidings), the espresso made the speciality drinks something to sip and savor, and the natural light and brick interior embroidered our experience with homey nostalgia. 5 stars and a must-stop in the hill!

Coffee is good, baked goods even better. The blueberry scone was perfectly crumbly and not dry with lots of tiny blueberries. The biscotti were the best I tasted thus far, perfect texture and taste! Service was very friendly and accommodating. They have mugs if you request them. Avoid the croissant sandwiches though, they’re the equivalent of a breakfast sandwich from McDonalds with American melted cheese.

Loved this little café. I've been back 3 times in 1 week. I'm addicted. It's nice to eat a small pastry or a cookie and chill. I had excellent café mocha and an amaretto cookie with cherry and one with pistachio. They were both excellent! The cherry tastes more like amaretto, but the pistachio is suttle and pure pistachio love.

Hands down the best coffee shop on The Hill. Great drinks, authentic Italian baked goods (try the taralli cookies), fun rotating seasonal menu, and the best staff.

I had the best time hanging at this cafe! The coffee and food was fabulous. Even the patrons are super friendly! When I visited, weren’t enough seats to sit outside…so a pair of sisters invited me to join their table. It was so kind and I had a blast making friends with locals. 10/10 experience- def stop in!
