The Oregon Roll is their flagship pastry. While very delicious, it might be a bit sweet for some. They have the usual coffee offerings of any decent coffee shop. Where this gets very good is the outdoor seating in an adorable courtyard. The atmosphere is great for a morning coffee. They are not off the beaten path, so it should be easy to stop by and check it out.
This is a lovely little French-style café that is off the beaten path, and near the artist stores in the Old Ironworks district. I had the market frittata with squash blossom, chèvre, zucchini, and scallion. It was served on a dressed bed of greens, and it was absolutely delicious. The breakfast sandwich and smoked trout sandwich are also scrumptious for light fair lunch or breakfast. The vegan Bundt cake with Marionberry glaze is wonderful and you would not know it is vegan. Everything I’ve had there has been uniquely flavorful and the recipes beautifully balanced and nuanced. Everything seems to be prepared in an exacting way with care. I get the impression they are a ‘small-batch’ place and that’s may why things sell out sometimes - as another review posted.
Love what they’ve done with the old Sparrow Bakery building! This whole area is a hidden gem. The cafe makes their own pastries and sandwiches, which are unique and delightful. Good coffee and a wonderful outdoor seating area. Great way to start the day and be sure to check out the shops in this nook while you’re there!
Omg, you gotta try this place. The whole center is great but Cafe is amazing. Wonderful staff. All so good. The food is amazing and the coffee on point! Also their lemonade and I've tea... yummy 😋 Highly recommend
We stopped in for coffees and pastries thus morning and couldn't be happier. Super tasty drinks and food in a cute, light atmosphere. I had the BAT croissant sandwich (which I highly recommend) and my friend had a ham and egg sandwich on an English muffin. They have gluten free and vegan options also ❤️ we tried the gluten free, vegan marionberry mini bundt and it was amazing
Amazing climatic place, hidden in the background streets. We came for breakfast, after reading the positive opinions - and it totally met our expectations! Delicious coffee and food, nice hipster-ish look &feel, with tables inside and outside. We ate the their special sandwich with trout (so good, that I forgot to take a pic 😅), plus a chocolatine (kind of pain au chocolat) and a pistachio croissant - all 10/10! A bit expensive (sandwiches from 10$ up), but totally worth it!
Fresh food that tasted good. Coffee was the highlight along with croissants. Will recommend going here if you are looking for a breakfast + coffee place in Bend.
One of those easy-to-miss places that are awesome. The food is delicious and the tea was amazing but most of all is the ambience. If you prefer small independent shops full of character rather than yet another Starbuck clone, this is the place you want.
