Their cinnamon rolls are gigantic, and at only $4.99, I had to try one. They make it fresh from scratch on demand so it takes awhile to be served. For us, it was a 35 minute wait. It was good, though a tad undercooked. Understandable as me and my companions weren't the most patient diners ever. One thing they could have done to better serve their customers is bring out the food that was ready first and then, as we ate, brought out the roll - after it was thoroughly baked. I got the waffle and sausage links. My sister, who also got a roll, had a cheeseburger. All three of us agreed the food was good. The coffee was very good.
The service was adequate and the atmosphere kitschy (see photos). Overall, a decent place to eat and a great spot with good views to wake up to.
Decent place. Service was nice. Food arrived fairly prompt and very hot. Fish was a tad done, but no big deal.
A comfortable little place. I'd go again to try their open faced roast beef.
Place is like a classic old diner from when I was a kid. One you'd find in a really small town. My grandpa took me to places like this when I'd ride around at work with him as a kid.
Jess was the BEST!!!! HER SERVES IS FRIENDLY WARM AND INVITING. We got there about 2:30pm (Didn't realize they closed at 3pm.)? Jess sat us down outside by the creek. Deck is clean and nice view of the creek under the willow trees. Bacon cheeseburger was on point. Fries a little dark but didn't stop me from cleaning my plate. Boyfriend had the JUMBO FISH SANDWICH. He gave it 8/10. He said grease needed to be changed fish was a little dark, But we will be back.
Nice staff but horribly SLOW kitchen. 30 minutes for a California club sandwich for my party of 1. The bread or toast was mushed, the avocado was a dark brown paste. The lettuce on the club was the same bagged and chopped lettuce that is used for salads. It made my sandwich fall apart worse. The fries were luke warn upon arrival.
Good news, the coffee was good. It is a small family run joint that is overly crowded and an average breakfast and lunch shop. Lots of seniors and locals. Based solely on food wait time and a sandwich haphazardly thrown together, I'll pass on this place next time. Too many other places with same offerings nearby.
Old school diner atmosphere and food. Friendly service. Shout-out to Joanne for her attentive and timely service. Try the big nasty for great hearty breakfast!
Service was great, never had an empty glass. They always checked on us, and had a smile to boot! The atmosphere was pretty chill, it's a nice family restaurant and those are usually the best.
Downside the food was avg. And it took almost an hour to get it. The waitress could tell we were getting frustrated but assured us it was coming up soon.
Over all the services and atmosphere made it a nice place to be but the wait and the food were the reason for the low rating!
Loved the food, people were so friendly and the restaurant itself was unique and quaint, just what we were looking for!! I will definitely go back
I visited on Sunday, around 11 am. The cafe was very busy, but it was worth the wait. The food was great, and our coffee was always kept full, despite the busyness.
I met with Steve in March 2021 and knew pretty quickly I had found something that would work for me. I began working out with Steve 2 days a week and moved to 3 days a week after a few months. I love that every workout is different, but builds on
You MUST visit this place in late April, early May if you love Virginia Blue Bells. The paved, accessible trail around the creek is blanketed in these flowers. There are nice bathrooms on site. The trails are not long enough for hiking unless you wan
Edison Brewing Company has a wonderful location with nice facilities. The Peak space on the 4 th floor has expansive views over the airport and downtown Columbus. A great space for events of all types. Some smaller rooms if costume changes needed.
