Cafe Colombia - Colombian restaurant in Woodland Park - 495 McBride Ave, USA

I usually come here to get empanadas or the ham and cheese sandwiches. Which are delicious so I thought maybe I should try the other food. I got the chicharron with rice and beans. The beans were so burnt I couldn’t even eat it, the meat had all fat.

I came here today, and I was surprised by this hidden gem! Is a small cafe! I came here with my husband and my niece, who is a very picky eater, and we all love our orders! Their Columbian Cheese buns are amazing!

This is an inviting place with parking in the back. Went there today looking for a hearty hot soup so i ordered the sopa de costilla de res(beef rib soup) and a chicken bandejita paisa. There was a thick layer of probably canola oil floating on top of bowl so i returned the full bowl back, and still got charged. However the waitress did offer to pack it for me. The chicken breast was dry and lacked flavor in the bandeja paisa. It was not busy when i was there at around 1pm. I ordered a beef empanada while waiting for food and it was extremely delicious. Also, i ordered a guava and cheese pastry which was fantastic as well. The place was very clean and service was quick and friendly enough. Id like to give them another shot with different menu items in the future. It was quite cold inside, they should install heaters throughout the place.

Incredible empanadas. I bought 100 for my company and my co-workers absolutely loved it. Simply amazing that Hugo and his family from such a small humble shop can produce such epic food! Highly recommended.

Trying to be nice as I write this. But Empandas here are trash! I usually don't do hot sauce but I had to put some on because its just not tasty and full of potateo. There are other places nearby in paterson that are more delicious and cheaper!! Mis Cositas Ricas has never failed me, I go here because its close to home. But if you have the time, go somewhere else

Small place but the food is always good. Great people.

Been coming here every chance I get. Even though management has change the place remains unique. The service and food are always great. I do recommend going in early in the day if you want fresh good from the bakery since they tend to run out in the afternoon. We’ve tried almost everything on the menu and they never fail. They always have lunch specials so that is also great. Parking can be annoying since their back end parking is very limited. But aside from that. Go visit !

One of the best cups of coffee in town. Service is always on point and with a smile. The women are beautiful! Bakery products are very fresh. They have a nice steady flow of traffic, but the lines move at a very nice pace!
