Cafe Ava is an absolute gem in Rhode Island, and my experience there was nothing short of phenomenal! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere immediately set the tone for a delightful visit. The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly, treating me like a valued guest from start to finish. Now, let's talk about the culinary magic that happens at Cafe Ava. The Coquito Latte is an absolute game-changer; the perfect blend of rich espresso coffee and the delightful sweetness of Puerto Rican coconut eggnog, creating a flavor symphony that danced on my taste buds. The House Latte was equally impressive, boasting a velvety texture and robust coffee flavor that left me craving more, with a hint of their housemate cinnamon syrup, divine! And then there's the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Arepa—pure perfection! The arepa was flawlessly cooked, offering a delightful combination of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The bacon was crispy, the eggs were perfectly scrambled, and the cheese... oh, the cheese! It elevated the entire dish to a whole new level of deliciousness. Cafe Ava is a true culinary haven, where every sip and bite is a celebration of Latin flavor. If you find yourself in Rhode Island, do yourself a favor and make a beeline to Cafe Ava. Your taste buds will thank you!
Probably one of the best latte’s I’ve ever had from a coffee shop. Everyone inside was so friendly and helpful! Gorgeous decor. You can tell a lot of love went into creating this coffee shop. Will be back as often as I can!
I finally was able to get to this local coffee shop after following them on social media! The cafe overall was adorable and trendy. I came in for their holiday Coquito latte, which is probably the best thing I’ve drank in a VERY long time. I will be returning for this beverage and more in the future!
I have been to and tried a lot of coffee shops in Rhode Island, it’s one of my fiancées and I’s favorite thing to do. For us a great coffee shop hits 3 marks - 1) Great atmosphere/cute aesthetic; 2) Great coffee; 3) Great food. Cafe Ava has all 3 of these things. It’s such a cute and aesthetic atmosphere. The coffee is probably some of the best iced coffee I’ve ever had, we’ve tried 4 different coffees already and all 4 were amazing! Most coffee shops usually lack one of these areas but Cafe Ava does not. The food is also incredible! We’ve tried 4 different sandwiches and 2 different pastries and all were so flavorful and good! We will definitely be making this a go to spot!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I feel like I can’t get an arepa from anywhere else now. My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of the area and ordered the Ava’s Arepa with pernil, egg and cheese and the arepa with condensed milk and cheese. The coffee was strong but smooth. I got the iced cafe bonbom and he got the cafecito, both were SO GOOD. Cafe bonbom over time was too sweet for me but i’m the type to not put sugar in my coffee normally. The vibe is so cute and welcoming. 10/10, you have to stop here for breakfast. I wish we lived closer because this would be our go to spot!
i am the tres leches latte’s #1 fan. incredible service, food and vibes! there is nothing like fresh squeezed juice, baked goods, lattes and arepas! arepas are a favorite food of mine, and Ava’s recently put me on to Concha’s, which i now know are VERY important to me!!! i am so glad ava’s came on the cranston scene this year.
Great little cafe located in the newly revitalized “Rolfe Square” area of Cranston. The cafe though small, is very nice, and welcoming. The interior is nicely decorated , and the outside, in the summer will be a great spot to enjoy a espresso curbside. The menu isn’t big but what they offer, are the typical staple beverages that any cafe should serve. I had the “Dirty Chai” which was fantastic, and their “New Yorker” breakfast sandwich. I wish their were a few more menu options, but it’s not a deal breaker by any means. I look forward trying something new, on my next visit. If your looking to try something new other then Dunkin’ and Starbucks , come by here and check out Cafe Ava.
Love Cafe Ava!! The House Latte is perfect, and all the food I've tried has been delicious! I love the arepa with cheese, and my son absolutely loves the Maple Pumpkin Cake! Tres Leches cupcakes are delicious as well. The staff is always friendly, and I love supporting a small, family-run business.
I have been going to Olympia for a number of years and I have consistently had a wonderful experience. The staff is encouraging, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. Steve does a great job leading his team and encouraging a supportive environment f

A hidden gem!! What a wonderful little restaurant. They are open until 3 and serve breakfast and lunch. We had breakfast while we were there and were impressed by the size of the meals. We tried the Omelets and The Big Sista. The omelets are stuffed

Was there yesterday for the first time. I already reviewed the best spinach pie ever. Now I am going to talk about the stuffed pepper. Have not had my mom's stuffed peppers since she passed in 1995, but this pepper brought them back for me. Same
First time getting pizza here and I was pleasantly surprised! Ordered a medium pepperoni and roasted garlic pizza for takeout. When I picked it up I noticed they put red bell peppers instead of pepperonis and when I mentioned it to the staff, they qu
Visiting this place brings absolute joy. The owners and regulars alike exude extreme friendliness. Undoubtedly the best bagels and bagel sandwiches around! Ample seating space to relax and enjoy a bite. Loved that they also had hot sauces for that fi
Great Italian food . Portions are huge. Calamari Alamama was too good. Never had this type of calamari in New England. Pink sauce chicken pasta was good. Even the house of salad was fresh and good. Bread with garlic dip as a side was good as well. O
